I was talking with my cousin Smokey and brother Steve a few months ago. I thought I had too many guitars (5, including a bass). Steve says he has 12. Smokey, ~25. I guess I have some catching up to do. Steve is trying to acquire every type of guitar that the Beatles used, or a copy thereof.

Just playing around with my keyboard, arpeggiator and pattern brush tool. First 'song' in several years. I have been having a bad time with my ears lately. Everything sounds bassy. Is it? https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=13866482

I went to the local pawn shop with my friend Ann so she could pay off a loan. Sometimes I hate going to these places. They make me spend money. I've always wanted a 335-style guitar, or the smaller 339. So what do they have hanging on the wall? An Epiphone ES-335 with humbuckers right next to an Epi ES-339 with P90s. At decent prices, too. I didn't have time to play them because we had other thing to do, but they both looked straight and clean. As we were leaving, one of the clerks said, "you know we have layaway, right?" GAS strikes again. I already have enough guitars! Said no one ever.

Diner: Waiter, there's a fly in my soup. Waiter: Impossible, sir. We used them all in the raisin bread.

What are some of your favorite/fun plugins for creativity?
57Gregy replied to Mesh's topic in The Coffee House
Wouldn't you be the plug-in? -
You have been assimilated. Mwahaahaahaa!

In an earlier version of Music Creator, there was info on how to make Session Drummer your session guitarist. The original SD. It may have been in the FAQs? Or tips and tricks. I swear I read it somewhere!

While scanning through the instructions looking for their mailing address, I saw this: "No checks of $100 million or more accepted."

I'M OUT OF #10 ENVELOPES!

Thanks, scook. I just wondered if anyyone else saw what I saw. I did get both pages, just posted p. 1 image. I'll send it in. Plus, I thought it was supposed to be simpler. I haven't had to look at the instructions for years using 1040EZ. Bah!

Sat down last night to do my taxes and I tried to download some forms. Has anyone else gotten a badly-formatted 1040 form? It's only half a page here: Just wondering if everyone got this and it's okay to send in or should it be full page.

Thanks, James.

Re: Paste Special. Often I want a clip to repeat every 16 bars (for example). Does Paste Special have the ability to put clips non-continuously, as in paste a 1-measure clip every 16 bars?

Can You Isolate Clips on MP3 Tracks?
57Gregy replied to Richard Strickland's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
I was able to import and split several MP3s in CbB. -
My suggestion: put them on your head.

Use the Mac to press the keys of your CbB system so you can say that you use a Mac with CbB. If that's important. ?

I had sax with one of my songs.

That's a real beauty, Bill, and I think you're richer for owning it. When I was a teenager, I didn't know anything about guitars. We played what we had; Framuses, Teiscos, Tru-Tones. In 1972, we rotated Stateside and lived at my grandmother's house for a few months. My oldest brother had left a bunch of music magazines there from when he lived there. One was a Guitar Player magazine and on the back was a Gibson ad showing a white LP and a black LP facing opposite directions. I fell in love with the Les Paul from that photo. The shape, I think, is the most beautiful guitar form ever conceived. It wasn't until '78 that I got to buy one, thanks to the layaway program at Professional Music in Raleigh. It was a black on blond 1955 reissue with P90s. Alas, I had to trade it in for a bass rig in '80. I currently own an Epiphone LP, which plays and sounds great, But some day, some way, I'm going to get a "real" Les Paul. Congratulations, and happy playing!

Hi, Jonathan. The company that made SONAR no longer exists. BandLab bought the rights to the software and is providing it free of charge for those with 64-bit OSes. You won't be able to get any SONAR software by download that you didn't previously buy. The old SOAR Command Center still works, I read, but SONAR 6 LE wasn't a DL app. Many 32-bit plug-ins will still work in the 64-bit CbB.
