  1. If it's just a slight increase in speed you want, have you tried Process>Length on a stereo mix of the song? If that's still a thing in CbB.
  2. If your plug-ins have already been scanned, they don't need to be scanned every time you open Cakewalk. Set it to 'manual scan' and you won't have to wait.
  3. Delete all the tracks from your project except the track folder. Save As and name it something else. Close project without saving the deletions.
  4. Apparently, you can't. It was just a thought.
  5. If you mean the synth as in "Lucky Man", my MX 49 has a patch called 'Lucky' which is that sound. If you want it for just one project, email me the MIDI and I'll run it through my keyboard and send you the wave.
  6. Thought this was a fred about crotchless panties. Carry on.
  7. I'm sure he's forgotten more Greek than I ever knew.
  8. Muddy Becan would be a good name for a band.
  9. Set the patch and channel in the MIDI track, not in the TTS-1 GUI.
  10. There's your problem; phase cancellation. Just try once a gain.
  11. Also, be aware that the notes you see are a representation of your MIDI performance, assuming you played it in. If you're not playing exactly in time the notes will be all over the place. You can use Input Quantization to place the notes in the correct spots as you record, mostly, but you still may need to do some editing for a pretty document. You can do extensive editing to get the notes all lined up, or you may be able to clean them up with Trim Durations and Fill Durations, if your program has those options in the Staff View.
  12. I'm still using SONAR Home Studio 6 on an XP machine, but I do have CbB on a W 10 computer and know eventually, I'll have to make the move to it. But for what I do (recording myself, audio and MID, plus a little editing) it won't be a huge jump. It records just fine. All the extra geegaws it comes with will just be gravy. Mastering is beyond my ken. Well, beyond my ability to hear what I'm doing.
  13. These guys are discussing using BandLab to collaborate: Hmm. The link didn't appear.
  14. Hmm. They moved a fred from the Coffee House to the main forum? What's next? Cats living with dogs? Lambs lying down with lions? Me finishing a song?
  15. Oh, it may want to print the entire length of the song, wouldn't it? You can cancel printing once the part is complete, or, copy that part to another project where the entire project is only the length of that clip. I'm sure there are other ways, too.
  16. Welcome to the forum. I would copy that part to another track, select that track's staff view, then print. Delete the extraneous track before saving, if desired.
  17. Open just 1 week and already a locked thread with an admin admonition. Welcome to the Coffee House!
