  1. I build custom air guitars in my workshop. Here is a list of options: PM me for more info.
  2. I get what you're saying Byron. You being a lefty on guitar, you're used to seeing it the same way I do. The mirrored fretboard appears like I'm looking at a lefty who is playing guitar I wonder, would it be easier for a left-handed guitarist to write music by clicking the mirrored image rather than the standard view? A left-handed person unfamiliar with the fretboard view might have an easier time of it than when using the standard view. Probably not an experienced guitarist, though. Anyway, I remembered those thoughts posited in the earlier thread and wanted to see how it worked. sjoens, I hope he/she can benefit from this forum, and you, um, he/she can find some value in this thread.
  3. A while back, in a thread whose name I can't recall and where the subject was something other than the Staff view, a user wondered why there was no left-handed fret view, and someone else decried the lack of drawability on the fretboard. I wondered why myself, since I was sure I had written into the 'board before. So, I checked it out, and yes, you can draw notes on the fretboard and have them displayed on the staff. I don't know why that person couldn't do it, and if he/she is still around, maybe we can compare settings or something. I don't recall ever changing anything in my staff properties, I believe it just always worked. As for the left-handed guitar, right-click the fretboard and select "Mirror Fretboard".
  4. As John Vere mentioned above, I see that the MOX has an audio interface, with inputs for guitars and microphones, if needed. You would have to download an updated USB driver for it from their web site. I have the Yamaha MX49, which also has an interface, but without all the extra inputs yours has. All it was good for was recording the sounds of the keyboard; I couldn't plug in a mic and record my singing through it. I went the traditional route, plugging the MIDI cables into my interface, as well as guitars, mics, etc.
  5. Welcome to the forum. Wow, that's a big request. Some questions folks here might ask you are: Do you have an audio interface (a better-quality sound card, usually external and connected with a USB, FireWire or Thunderbolt cable)? If so, does the interface also have MIDI ports? For connecting your MOXF. Or, are you planning on plugging the Yamaha in via USB? What about your computer? Laptop or desktop? Operating system? RAM? Hard drive type? Do you know anything about playing or writing music? Can you play the keyboard? Do you know your way around the computer? I suggest going to Cakewalk's Tutorials forum and look for some set-up videos. Good luck!
  6. I think the best way to use this device would be to use their ASIO driver and use the Zoom for both recording and playback, monitoring all audio through its line out/headphone out.
  7. I opened a couple of my .cwb files; no problems playing, saving, closing and re-opening in the latest CbB. Both were recorded in SONAR Home Studio 6 a few years ago, though.
  8. Don't forget this one. My brother gave (sorry, Craig) me his copy when I was starting out.
  9. No, you will have to restretch it, I think. Right-click the clip and select Groove Looping again, which will turn it off. Make your change and re-groove/drag.

Are these wireless/Bluetooth or wired headphones?
  11. Welcome to the forum. Do you have the 2 devices's MIDI connected? How? Is Audio Metronome selected? Or MIDI met? What are you met preferences? While recording? During Playback? Both? I never bothered with the metronome, preferring instead a simple drum beat. Mouse in 2 on-beat kicks, 2 downbeat snares, 8 hats, right-click the clip, convert to Groove Loop, drag out as far as I want.
  12. Try Bounce to Track instead, perhaps with Real Time Render enabled. Probably the exact same thing...
  13. In math(s), the 'less than' symbol.
  14. There's the Global Bypass FX button, but I don't think there's a way to delete them all at once.
  15. Five grand. Wow. You could have gotten 10 MX49s. Good luck! P.S. I'm finding 25 lbs. to be heavy nowadays. I ain't 64 anymore.
  16. Welcome to the forum. How are you trying to 'record' it?
  17. They're usually asleep in one of the teacups.
  18. On my Win 10 computer, there is no specific "headphone" output to select on the computer or within Cakewalk's Preferences, just the sound chip, which reads "RealTek High Definition Audio", etc. But the headphones work. That's with standard plug-in headphones.
  19. Haven't trimmed my nose hair since 2020.
