  1. In my early teens, my folks bought us one of those fold-up phonographs. Fold out the speakers (and remove them, if desired), fold down the turntable and crank it up. It worked well and was plenty loud. Fidelity wasn't a consideration. While in the living room, my father had a Grundig/Dual system that could shake the building, but never did since he listened to "beautiful music" at whisper-like levels. ? That was in the early '70s.
  2. Articulation Maps - Cakewalk Discuss | The Official Cakewalk by BandLab Forum Jeez. I thought I copied the link. Anyway, under Community>Content>Articulation
  3. It seems like the Bakers have had a little extra time to spend lounging in the forums. Almost like they have finished something and are just hanging out, drinking coffee or something harder and shooting the shizzle. As if the presents are all wrapped and they're waiting for Dec. 25 to hand them out. What could it be? Mugs? T-shirts? Welcome mats? Your favorite, long-discontinued synth being revived?
  4. Probably not. We have different complexions. I don't remember his mother, but it was a long time ago during the age of... what was I going to write? Squirrel!
  5. I've been working at the Fuquay-Varina (that's a town) Walmart now for about 6 months. There's a Subway restaurant inside it, much better than the McDonald's inside my old workplace. Anyway, one of my bosses was in line with me there and I told him I used to work at the very first Subway in Fuquay back in 1986. My brother owned it. He replied that his mother worked in that store in 1986 while pregnant with him. Small world. Oh, there was music playing on the P.A.
  6. Just add "solved" to the thread title by editing it.
  7. The markers I think about are always at the top of the Track view, above the time line. What markers are track-specific? Or do you mean from a track in Project A into a track in Project 7?
  8. Welcome to the forum. I would use a Track Template with the desired effects. Or a Project Template.

You're probably driving up the price, Rain.
  10. Welcome to the forum. We need some more information. What are you using to make sound? A computer sound card or an external audio interface? What mic are you using? This is most often caused by the audio input device and Cakewalk by Bandlab (CbB) having different sampling rates. look in the device's settings and in CbB's Preferences (keyboard key 'P') and set them to the same value, such as 48,000 kHz. See if that helps.
  11. I just had no problem copy/pasting a track from one project to another. You must ensure you are on the right track at the right time.
  12. Please note also that some stock sound cards may have an ASIO driver mode. Don't use that. An after-market audio interface with included ASIO drivers are the best. Or the greatly improved WASAPI modes provided by Microsoft. ASIO4All is not ASIO.
  13. How does it behave after you've frozen the UA tracks? Did you try 'real time bounce/export' rather than fast? What happens if you Bounce down the project into a single stereo track in the same project? Does it play correctly?
  14. Just bought a copy of my friend TJ's new album with Inanimus. Called Martyrdom. I think it's pretty good. I linked some live videos here of them playing at a local club last year. I listened to the whole thing and even with my damaged ears, it seemed well-produced. If you like a little metal, give them a listen at bandcamp and maybe shoot them a ten spot for the download.
  15. To add sustain to a MIDI track, I use the Staff view, place the cursor where I want the pedal event, click the Pedal button, and click it in. Once it's in, you can move/drag the start and stop times of the event if you want it longer or shorter than the default.
  16. Yeah, you would think one of those could be set for sustain. "2x 1/4-inch footswitch jacks (software-assignable for sending MIDI commands to recording software (start/stop, punch in/out, etc.)" but I don't know. This was updated in 2019, apparently, compatible with W 10. https://line6.com/software/index.html
  17. Welcome to the forum. The Toneport is pretty old. Did you find the correct drivers at the Line 6 web site? I saw this at their Legacy Products page: "1/4-inch expression pedal jack (software-assignable for controlling GearBox wah, volume or sending MIDI to recording programs)". I don't know if it can be used as a sustain pedal input. Have you gotten it to work at all with Cakewalk by Bandlab (CbB)?
  18. How was the audio heard on FL Studio? Was it your computer it was heard on or some video from the internet? Welcome to the forum.
  19. Also, the manager for Track view and Console view are different; you could have track 6 and 7 hidden in TV but not in Console, for example.
  20. "H" on the computer keyboard brings up the Track Manager, from which you can show/hide any track or bus.
  21. I would save the whole project under a new name and edit 1 or the other.
