  1. Right. If you've imported the tracks, they're already there so you don't need inputs to record them into a track. In fact, I think you should set inputs to None unless you're recording into that track. Welcome to the forum.
  2. Did the VST scanner know the location of the plug-in? If not, enter the location into the Plug-in Manager's VST Scan Path box and try again. And welcome to the forum.
  3. I have really got to stop answering questions about CbB based on my use of SONAR Home Studio 6. Things have changed and I'm not exactly sure how CbB does Loop Recording. It's probably similar but I still may be misleading folks. Sorry. I don't have a good enough computer to run and record CbB, so I still use an old 32-bit XP computer with SHS 6. I have CbB on this 64-bit machine, but it's weak. Anyway, Loop Recording in SHS will create a new track (not lane) and record to it after you're reached the end of the loop point in the previous track, with all the same track properties, i.e. input/output, bus selection.
  4. He was shocked to learn you were capable of such things.
  5. How did you determine that it's "too hot"? Can you hear distortion?
  6. Nowadays, you're only going to get P.
  7. MIDI or audio? As Alan Tubbs wrote, if they're MIDI on the same channel, you may get this. Welcome to the forum.
  8. Try SONAR Home Studio 6 XL. ? Thanks. I never thought I would have a reason special enough to use that.
  9. If a stereo effect is on the track, then you want stereo. Or if it's a keyboard track and you want the bassy notes on the left and treble on the right as if you were sitting at the piano, then stereo. Guitars or vocal tracks with no stereo effects? They should have already been recorded in mono and should probably remain that way.
  10. Sorry. CbB doesn't seem to work the same way as SONAR. I'll have to work out a different way.
  11. I check the Clip Properties for the exact time the clip starts and then paste it based on that time. The clip may start at 7:03:847 and I want to paste it at about the 37th measure. Type 37:03:847 as the paste target. Opps. See below.
  12. So, you want to extend an event all the way to the end, or the start, not just go to the end or the start, correct? FWIW, Shift+Alt+F6 does nothing on my machine that I can see.
  13. I don't think Session Drummer comes with CbB, as noted above. It has Studio Instruments Drums.
  14. Moderators apparently never read Breakfast of Champions. * * * has a particular meaning in that book.
