According to Wiki, they have more than 11* live albums. *I didn't actually count them when I was there, but it was a lot!

Can I get some clarification on Si-Drums please
57Gregy replied to Roy Slough's topic in Instruments & Effects
If you right-click the drum/cymbal icon, you can select which sound you want it to play. Is that what you mean? Clicking the icon at the bottom, middle or top changes the velocity, so altering the velocity of a note in the PRV or Staff will also change the sound. -
Is a Brush Snare available in Cakewalk
57Gregy replied to Roy Slough's topic in Instruments & Effects
So, you never had any Cakewalk program before this one? Then that synth will not be available. There is a thread somewhere in these forums about other free or low-cost General MIDI soft synths that you can use... -

What program are you using? We assume Cakewalk by Bandlab, latest version. That doesn't include TTS-1. If you downloaded any earlier version of CbB, that did include it, in which case you click the Insert button at the top, then Soft Synths>TTS-1. -
The afternoon before the concert that I attended, they gave a free concert for the GIs.

Bitflipper and I were both in Frankfurt at the same time, and that's where I saw my first concerts, at 14 years old. Grand Funk, still one of my favorite bands, with Mott the Hoople opening for them at the Messe in Dec. 1971. Then, Ten Tears After a month later at the same venue. The GF tickets were 14 DM, about 3.5 USD at that time. I haven't been to a lot of concerts, due to a problem with large crowds, so all of the ones I have seen are memorable. Jeff Beck at the Santa Barbara County Bowl, ~1981, David Gilmour around 1987? The 'Blue Light Tour I think it was, in southern Florida. The North Carolina Symphony Orchestra doing Beethoven's last symphony a few years ago.

Drove from NC to Cali in 1978 on I 10 in early Sept. I had to run my heater to keep the engine temp below 220 degrees across most of New Mexico and Arizona.

That's right. Cakewalk plays straight through the sound card or audio interface bypassing any other audio software. Glad you figured it out.
-
Usually this is due to audio "enhancements" in WMP and other players. Realistically, every system sounds different, although not always so different as to be noticeable. Bounce your song down to a single stereo track in your project and solo it. Does it sound the same? Export it then import it into the same project and solo it. Does it sound the same? Of course, I assume you use a Master bus to run all your audio tracks through, and set your bounced/imported audio to that same Master. In WMP especially, turn off all the included effects and compare the results.

More importantly, where does the hole go when you've finished the doughnut?
-
Are these MIDI Format 0 or MIDI Format 1? Are you opening from the Windows browser, dragging them in from the browser, or using the Import controls in Sonar? I have to be careful; I don't have Sonar and am going by old knowledge, from Music Creator, Home Studio, X3 and CbB. I probably shouldn't post here until I know more about the new program. ? But, I think how and what you're doing is relevant.

In comms with Crg from the old forum on FB, he noted how hot it was in Vegas. Here in Raleigh, we had a record high of 106 (where's the degree symbol?), which was just another summer day when I lived in Texas. Still, while I like the heat, I can't take as much as I could when I was younger.

I think you have your answer.

Recording direct to Cakewalk from YouTube, Spotify etc.
57Gregy replied to Edward Allen's question in Q&A
If your sound card/audio interface has a setting like "Stereo Mix" or "What You Hear", as an input, set that and then set Cakewalk's audio track input to the same and it should record everything you hear. I have done that many times. On W10 here. -
Here's what happened in my home town 11 years ago today!

Still, pretty cool. We had a candidate for the Darwin Award in NC last night. He thought it would be a good idea to ignite fireworks on top of his head. -
It's nice to see someone with their priorities straight. Rain, here in North Carolina, US, we took driver's ed in school at taxpayer expense. I remember the first day of real driving they took us out on the Interstate. Pucker factor of 7.

A couple of my favorite cartoons from them: "Pull down and tear up". "The quick way out". You'll have to look for them. ?

Jeez Louise, bounce and freeze.

How to setup? -Split Guitar Signal to go to multiple amps
57Gregy replied to sadicus's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
I would simply record the guitar on multiple tracks at the same time. Greater flexibility with EQ and effects, etc. Add different amp sims/presets to each as desired. If it's already recorded, clone/duplicate that track. -
You'd probably get arrested if you tried to sell it.

I can't decide which one deserves the groan more.

This thread compelled be to look through all my LPs, albeit a few months late. Organized, alphabetized, categorized. Thankfully, I only have 111. I seem to be missing a few, too. Not including CDs. Reminded that I have an original Led Zeppelin III with the revolving wheel insert intact. Somewhat rare.
