  1. You might want to edit the title of this post with the proper program name, otherwise you will probably get more of the "hey, this is the Cakewalk forum" posts.
  2. If you have never worked with video, play around with one of the basic programs you probably already have on your computer. It's fun! And educational. But remember that the Cakewalk programs aren't video editors; they're for synching up and composing music to video.
  3. What is the output of these MIDI tracks set to? A hardware device like a MIDI keyboard or sound module? Or the Microsoft GS Wavetable synth on your sound card? Or a software synthesizer?
  4. If the WASAPI drive works well for you, great. I spent some time last night looking at the Lynx offerings (man, those are some good-looking interfaces! And pricey!) Which one are you using? In any case, of the ones I saw, only 1 mentioned an ASIO driver, but I can't believe it's not offered with some of their other devices. Or I didn't look for enough. If it was me, I would try to find out why that happened and get it fixed so the ASIO driver is available. By the way, from where did you get the ASIO driver? Downloaded from Lynx? Or one that was already on your computer?
  5. Delivery drivers in general don't seem to know what they're doing, or how to read a map, even in the days of computer and phone apps that will tell them where to go (?). Last week, a food order from a local restaurant never made it to us. No amount of bellyaching filled our stomachs. Tuesday, we received a Domino's pizza, some wings and a coke we didn't order. It was good.

    Midi / Audio Latency

If you have "virtual synths" also known as software synthesizers, soft synths, VSTi's, instrument tracks or simple instrument tracks, then you have audio in the project and the audio metronome will be selected. As far as I understand it.

    Midi / Audio Latency

If there is no audio or software synthesizers in a project, you can use the MIDI metronome. As soon as you add audio, it will begin to use the audio metronome to try to keep things in synch. In Preferences, you can select to use the audio met all the time if you want.
  8. As Promidi mentioned, if the screen resolution isn't within specs, those buttons will be offscreen at the bottom, and the top will be at its maximum height, and you can't drag it higher to show those controls.
  9. Welcome to the forum. What Driver Mode are you using? WASAPI Shared or WASAPI Exclusive are probably the best for an off-the-shelf computer sound card. For best results, an audio interface with real ASIO drivers is preferred. WASAPI is a fairly new driver from Microsoft and should provide okay performance for basic recording.
  10. Because sometimes they send you stuff, unbidden, like a pristine FireWire card.
  11. Create the number of audio tracks Voicemeeter has inputs. Arm them all. Speak. Which one is recording? Disable all the others.
  12. Welcome to the forum. Doesn't the note sound when you click it into the PRV?
  13. Tubular Bells. I Googled chimes and most results were for the sound a bell makes when struck or wind chimes. Had to scroll way down to get to orchestral chimes. Man, those things are expensive!
  14. Really, though, congratulations. Not many make it past that "you play what?" stage of a relationship.
  15. Your skivvies must be getting pretty ripe.

What do you do with them?
  17. I will consider it. ? But seriously, folks, I only discovered the tagging things after you posted your question. What happens if you click it?
