  1. If your sound card/audio interface has a setting like "Stereo Mix" or "What You Hear", as an input, set that and then set Cakewalk's audio track input to the same and it should record everything you hear. I have done that many times. On W10 here.
  2. Still, pretty cool. We had a candidate for the Darwin Award in NC last night. He thought it would be a good idea to ignite fireworks on top of his head.
  3. It's nice to see someone with their priorities straight. Rain, here in North Carolina, US, we took driver's ed in school at taxpayer expense. I remember the first day of real driving they took us out on the Interstate. Pucker factor of 7.
  4. A couple of my favorite cartoons from them: "Pull down and tear up". "The quick way out". You'll have to look for them. ?
  5. I would simply record the guitar on multiple tracks at the same time. Greater flexibility with EQ and effects, etc. Add different amp sims/presets to each as desired. If it's already recorded, clone/duplicate that track.
  6. You'd probably get arrested if you tried to sell it.
  7. I can't decide which one deserves the groan more.
  8. This thread compelled be to look through all my LPs, albeit a few months late. Organized, alphabetized, categorized. Thankfully, I only have 111. I seem to be missing a few, too. Not including CDs. Reminded that I have an original Led Zeppelin III with the revolving wheel insert intact. Somewhat rare.
  9. Welcome to the forum. I think you must Bounce the soft synth to audio and try the Reverse process on that audio track, not the synth/MIDI track.
  10. I did help by explaining more than I had to, and creating an image of what I referred to. The "d'oh" was at me being a dummy for doing all that when I could have just written "click the W". Good luck!
  11. " How's it done?" Tried it out. Right-click in a blank area of the bus, select Write Automation. Press play, move controls.
  12. Saw this license plate on a Corvette yesterday: 3.14RIT and wondered, Pittsburgh or East Carolina University? Or Somalia?
  13. When playing back, set the Input to 'None'.
  14. And yet they write songs that last 45 minutes.
  15. Welcome to the forum. You can't get MIDI through an audio output. You need to plug the audio outputs of the Kronos into your Audiobox, set up an audio track in Cakewalk to "listen" to that input, and/or to record it. Or you can Insert a software synthesizer, set output of the Kronos MIDI track as the input of that soft synth. and the output of the soft synth to an audio track to the Audiobox.
  16. Bill got a job as an editor for "The Southern Journal". He's an ain't remover.
  17. Good question. Is there software for controlling the Behringer's settings? That could be the Windows generic driver made for the RealTek sound chip.
  18. I think that should be your normal procedure. The Focusrite ASIO driver is superior to the Yamaha/Steinberg driver in my opinion. Mixer audio output to the Scarlett 2i2 input.
