Try AOMEI Backupper and Partition Magic (if needed). Has always worked flawlessly and they had a perpetual license when I bought several years ago. Great tech support and a straightforward piece of software.

I've used the Rode NT1000 for years. Not sure what the real pro engineers say about that, but I have always been more than happy with it. Now if I could only sing. I put it through a Behringer ADA8200. Steve

Thank you for listening. In the video, I tried to make the upbeat music fit in. Although one could argue that driving around in a nice car on a beautiful day is in itself an addiction ?

Hi Larry, thank you. You are absolutely right. I started with a canned drum beat that was right on the money. Steve

Thanks Jack - some of it is in 5/8 - weird!

Thank you!

Thanks Treesha!

Yes! That was the inspiration I needed to add it back in again. I will make that change - Thank you!

Hi Jim thanks for listening. It’s funny, I thought about that. I actually did a video of a previous version where the teletype was at the beginning.

Nice work Rex - you have a smooth voice.

Pretty much nothing can beat the joy a dog can give you unconditionally. Nice song!

Hi Jack - I have the organ doubling a lot of it now. In the older version the organ was the same exact thing as the piano throughout, but it was a little too much I think. Steve

I built this one again from the ground up. I think it is more on point now. I hope you all agree. TIA for any input. https://baselines.com/?p=6344 Happy Thanksgiving to all of you that celebrate it. Steve

Thanks for stopping by Wookiee - I thought about using that bass synth line because of the Donna Summer song, but I figured the rest of the piece was different enough to get away with it. Maybe not though LOL. Hope you are well. Are you in the US? If so, have a great Thanksgiving...enjoy!

Thanks for listening and leaving feedback!

Thanks for the listen and comment Mark! That part you mentioned was one of the built in Cakewalk sounds - I don't remember which one it was. Steve

Hi Esther - sounds good - I like the piano tone, sounds like a real acoustic piano. One bit of advice I got along the way is that the vocal should sit in the mix. Picture the players on stage and see if everything fits your vision. For me, I would bring them down in the mix a little, but it varies from person to person. You have a powerful voice. Look into iZotope tools if you haven't already. Nectar and Tonal Balance are good to work with. Steve

Nice job Larry - glad to have you here submitting your songs. Steve -
Thanks for the feedback Esther!

Hi Larry - I feel the same. You have to have a little fun in the writing process. Sometimes people notice, sometimes they don't, but that's OK. I'm glad you came by for a listen.

It was in the Rapture set. It used to be free with Cakewalk. I think it might still be in the newer releases as well.

Here's a slightly pumped up mix of a song on the album The Instrumentalist. https://baselines.com/?p=6336

Nothing wrong with this Mark - I love it. Steely Dan groove (love them). I like the space that exists even with a lot going on. Great job. Steve
