  1. Very cool! Things are so much different today with the recording and production processes.
  2. Interesting vocals/lyrics - and the bass tone is perfect. Is that a midi bass or the real thing?
  3. Here's an updated mix for this Beatles cover from Abbey Road. @kiwichrys from Bandlab adds her stellar vocals. https://baselines.com/?p=6590
  4. Oh there will be flame wars, but here goes. Abbey Road - The Beatles Aja - Steely Dan Revolver - Beatles Rubber Soul - Beatles The Wild The Innocent and the E-Street Shuffle - Springsteen et al The Cars - The Cars Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton Graceland - Paul Simon Ram - McCartney Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
  5. I bought the Rutles album. They are really very funny. I haven't listened in a while, but for a Beatles fan it is a great album.
  6. This is great Lynn - all of it! Welcome back.
  7. Thanks for the answers - I guess I will be setting up a track template.
  8. Hi - is there a way to set the default MIDI device so when you open a new track, the input is assigned to that default? Thank you, Steve
  9. Hi Bjorn - thanks for leaving me the feedback. I always try to keep things short and put surprises in throughout to keep interest. A lot of kids these days don't know what an attention span is LOL.
  10. Sounds great - I love that old AKAI machine video - I wish I still had a reel to reel - not easy to come by these days and I have a lot of old tapes ?
  11. Thank you very much for your nice comment - makes me feel better!
  12. Always love your stuff. This is no exception. Great. Love that snare sound.
  13. Thanks Freddy - appreciate the positive feedback. Without Melodyne those vocals would sound like crap I am sure. It's one of the best products I have ever purchased.
  14. Mark thank you very much for listening and your comments. I am a huge Beatles fan, so I am sure that comes through all the time.
  15. Thank you very much Paul. I try to keep it interesting throughout (and short) - I thought others would think maybe I overdid it a little on this one, but I was happy with it....another one in the can LOL.
  16. Sounds good to me. I hear a couple of spots on the piano. If you have Neutron 4, I bet it would highlight what frequencies are problematic.
  17. Really good for a basement tape. Ours from the 70's (just a reel to reel and a couple of mics) pales in comparison.
