Nice work Jane.

Hi Lynn - really nice to hear from you - thank you for the great comment, it really makes me feel good! I try to keep things interesting through a whole song. If I get bored, I know others will too! Steve
-
Hi Bruce - thank you very much for the nice comment - I really had fun with this one, both music and lyrics. Sometimes it is a battle to get everything done, but this one flowed.
-
Hi Nigel - thank you for listening!
-
You've captured Frank - great work.
-
Thanks Kevin - I appreciate your time and feedback! Steve
-
Awesome! Good to know there's folks out there that are like me. Thanks for listening.

Funny. I also pictured Animal going nuts on the drums behind Kermit (and maybe miss Piggy on harmonies)
-
Yeah Bjorn! - I got to that part and was going through rhymes ... rate..sate...tate. Thought, oh I couldn't, oh I shouldn't...oh I MUST! That's the good thing about getting old, you don't care so much about what other people think of you. You do what is core you. Steve
-
Now you've done it - I can't get that video of Kermit singing 'Shine when others tell you...' and 'Maybe I'll get Henry' - I have a perfect movie running in my head! Thanks for your comments, really appreciated. Steve

Absolutely Larry - no sense in getting mired down in the ball of confusion that life can become. That you for your comment.

Thank you!
-
Thanks Jack - I do weird good I have been told ?
-
Thank you! I usually write out a piano part for the vocal first...and one phrase sets it off. For this one, it started with 'I see the future', and 'if I had a buffalo nickel'

I like the synth style 'horn' sound. I agree with others a little Floydish. I was waiting for a heavy yet simple real bass to come in (mostly whole notes), but maybe that is just more because of what Pink Floyd would do. Nice work on theis one!
-
Alway loved panning in the way that you did it here.. Another interesting soundscape.
-
Love it - I think I caught a later mix because I didn't hear the vocal issues some users posted about. You have a winner here. For some reason I am getting a Boz Skaggs vibe or maybe Michael McDonald. In the 70s I was blown away with that type of sound...Silk Degrees and Aja. Great work.
-
Nice layering of all the tracks - really good work. I agree that something could make the drums better, but they also work as they are.
-
Very nice - made me smile. Nice hat!!!
-
Good one Jack - I enjoyed the unexpected chord changes.
-
Great first effort - truly amazing. If you could add a little backstory on the AI activity, that would be interesting to read.
-
Vocal is smoooth. Good work.

I have relatives who spend a few winter months down there. I'll hav e to ask them about the frogs! Very peaceful musical accompanyment.
-
Wow Lynn - this is so cool - great vocal - professional mix. Steve

Lyrics I see the future, in all its glory My droid has green eyes, his name is Henry If I had a buffalo Nickel for every time My dreams collided with stark reality I'd buy a super yacht and sail it Around the seven seas then right back home. I'd take a breath and try to calculate my fate. And hope I don't end up like Sharon Tate Shine when others tell you that the world we know is a ball of confusion Shine Maybe I will ponder, calculate and scheme I'll find a way to capture joy synthesize it in a jar and maybe I'll get Henry to do all the work. In case of failure or despair Take a generous spoonful from my jar And keep on dancing with great abandon Don't let them see you Just keep on tapping Mommas little baby will never cry Mommas little baby would rather die Just keep on shining There's a silver lining (Momma's little baby will never cry Momma's little baby would rather die.) Shine when others tell you that the world we know is a ball of confusion Shine
