  1. Yeah - but I think I kind of undid what Nectar did a little except around 300hz. - I didn't even realize this till I just went back in and looked at both
  2. I wish! I've been trying to come up with video content, but it is not my strong suit - usually I just try to find video content from Youtube and piece it together. It's a long hard slog usually!
  3. Usually lyrics are very hard for me - on that particular one, I would take lunchtime walks with the earbuds, listen to the music and try to find words that fit. It took me a couple of weeks to finish those. Out of all my songs, I think the lyrics on this one are probably the best I can do.
  4. Hi Rik - I would have never thought that, but I'll have to go back and listen for it - thanks for the comment!
  5. Thanks Jack - On the main vocal I used iZotope Nectar. I also sent it to three busses - about a quarter of the full signal: Reverb: UAD Hitsville on the Grapevine setting Delay: Cakewalk Sonitus Delay 1/8 on left and 1/5 on right Reel ADT: Waves on the subtle vocal ADT setting On the final vocal buss, I put Waves Vocal Rider Cheers!
  6. Thank you - yes, all of a sudden that phrase popped into my head at the right time - sometimes that happens!
  7. Well, the drums just didn't fit, so I got rid of them. I've started generating images to go along with these releases using AI rather than searching the net and looking for other people's graphics. So far I am happy with the results. https://baselines.com/?p=6992 TIA for listening!
  8. Mission accomplished - great groove, not loose or lost ?
  9. You got some of the good ones from Bandlab there. Nice work. I like how that guitar comes in at the end and mixes in with the synth. Good work by all!
  10. I'm back - I just listened to the versions you have side by side. For the remastered one, the vocal is much more present in the mix. I like how that sounds when it comes in.
  11. Hi Freddy - I tried to stay close to the Steely Dan version - I've heard a couple of live performances of the original from 1928 and it seems like Steely Dan tried to stay close to that one as well.
  12. I can't find release notes. Any way to find out what was updated in 1.1.6? Thank you.
  13. Congrats on the victories! You deserve it, your stuff is always top notch. Steve
  14. This was a fun listen. Loved it.
  15. Thank you for the nice comment - I have to admit though, the piano part is two tracks.
  16. Thank you Tom - I had a lot of fun putting this together, and I got a chance to use my banjo plugin!
  17. That's the one! But I think you just keep the bass like you have. That section starts with a b flat 7 / B flat in the bass (octave bounce) - The d note then hits by itself quickly followed by an A flat in the bass (octave bounce) which kind of turns the chord into an A flat maj 7. Don't mind me - I like to keep covers true to the original...some people don't care one way or the other, but particularly with the Beatles, I like to keep them true. Steve
  18. Thank you - one of my favorites from the album!
