@kurt soderquist, Thank you for reporting the issue in the forum. Hopefully, other forum members that use the Fishman Triple Play will see your post and either (1) confirm hanging is a common issue or (2) report they do not experience the issue and offer some suggestions that might help to resolve the issue. In the meantime, did you know that the Cakewalk by BandLab developers may be able to assist with a resolution? Chief developer, @Noel Borthwick , has a topic that details how you can provide them with the information they need to help you resolve the issue. From the topic: You can read the complete topic here: Better problem reporting: How to capture a crash dump

+1 I agree. The inability to label midi tracks while in the Piano Roll View is an irritant.

That's one way to get an Apple product to work within a Windows environment. ?

@LarsF, I watched a video that demonstrates the Solo Save feature in Presonus StudioOne. So, as I understand it you are asking for the option of associated track and buss Solo buttons to mimic ON / OFF operation, is that correct? Background: Tracks TK1 (background vocal left), TK2 (background vocal right) & TK3 (lead vocal) send to busses Reverb 1 and Delay 1. TK1 & TK2 have Solo Save with Reverb 1 while TK3 has Solo Save with Reverb 1 and Delay 1. Example: Enable Solo on TK1 or TK2 and TK3 + Delay 1 mutes. Enable Solo on TK3 and the background vocals mute. Enable Solo on Reverb 1 and delay 1 mutes. Enable Solo on Delay 1 and reverb 1 mutes. Background vocal tracks solo button operation is linked to each other and to the solo button of Reverb 1 but not to the solo button of the lead vocal track or Delay 1. At the same time the lead vocal button is linked to the solo buttons of both the reverb and delay buss but not to the operation of the solo buttons on the background vocal tracks. I support your request if I've described the feature as you desire,

Feature Request: Allow manual entry of tempo in AudioSnap
Jim Fogle replied to Craig Reeves's topic in Feedback Loop
I agree that it would be great to add manual tempo entry to AudioSnap. Consistent operation between views helps new users learn the program faster. -

Is Cakewalk the best free DAW on the market
Jim Fogle replied to dappa1's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Yep. As @Lord Tim and @Teegarden say, best is what works best for you. It may not always be Cakewalk but so far Cakewalk is the daw I have on my computer and the one I'm learning how to use so it's best for me. More and more videos are published that demonstrate the many different features available in Cakewalk by BandLab and a wide variety of ways those features can be used. The quality and quantity of video tutorials is increasing at a fast pace. I appreciate all the videos, they've been a big help to me. -
Will, Thanks for the video. I'm looking forward to seeing additional videos as you re-start your channel. I like using the typing versus narration. For a video that's demonstrating one idea typing makes for a concise video. Aldo there are many people that read English better than they can speak or listen so the potential is there to gain a bigger audience.

Dang! That's a pretty good overview that you can watch in less than 2 minutes. Sweet.

MIDI: Beyond the Basics in Cakewalk by Bandlab
Jim Fogle replied to Creative Sauce's topic in Tutorials
Hi Mike, Twenty four minutes is a long video but every minute of the video has useful information. I appreciate you mentioning the keyboard shortcuts as I'm trying to learn some well enough to use them without a shortcut. Thanks for continuing with Cakewalk by BandLab videos as I eagerly look forward to the release of each one.- 4 replies

@Xel Ohh Interesting video. Your choice to use Cakewalk by BandLab to make beats allows you to use the program and features differently than some. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.

How can I get additional support?
Jim Fogle replied to Morten Saether's topic in Frequently Asked Questions
Brian, Thank you for taking time to respond. I clicked on the Cakewalk by BandLab Training link in Mort's initial post above. The link does indeed lead to a dedicated OBEDIA CbB training page. I apologize for my confusion. Again, thank you for responding and correcting my mistake.- 4 replies

Make Mouse Wheel in Console Window Consistent with Tracks Pane
Jim Fogle replied to Tim Elmore's topic in Feedback Loop
Excellent suggestion. I always try to agree with suggestions that enable CbB to operate consistently between views. -
Every track has a level indicator. The top of the level indicator changes to red any time a track clips. The red indicator stays on until you reset it to turn it off. Navigate your mouse over the indicator and click on the red indicator to reset it.

Make sure you always plug the NanoKontrol2 into the same USB port. The driver will be installed each time a different USB port is used.

I haven't hear your earlier productions of this song but I have heard the Don Henley original and, doggone it, I REALLY like this version. This is a very ambitious project and you've done the song justice. My only complaint is you didn't fade out the ending.

Will, My intent is not to manage the Workspaces before a project opens. My primary intent is to have access to the Workspace text descriptions so I can read them before I open a project template.

The right side of the Transport Module has the Metronome controls. Click on the bottom button to open the metronome settings.

What's the recommended TTS-1 setup for MIDI-only musics?
Jim Fogle replied to Wattana Gaming's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Sound On Sound has a similar article from +++ 2005 +++ when the TTS-1 was first introduced.
