Not too long ago in a galaxy not far away......IK kicked some ***** in a group buy. Izotope did not charge users for a Ozone 9 upgrade after it had been out for over 2 months. Every week Melda has a 50% off. Waves returns to it's own vomit with the $29 plugins. Eventide is the copycat. I don't think I need anymore. Funny how PA claims ignorance with what buyers were doing. Also they rarely update plugins. It does make sense in what they are doing, There needs to be some exchange of money with their vouchers.

Screw all of the philosophical stuff. It's a great piece of software. I finally removed AP7 and no longer need 32 bit plugins.

Last BF it was under $70.

I got it bought haven't auditioned it yet. Usually on the site you can audition the loops. I thought it was worth the risk for $4.

Chilled Trap 2 might be the best since it has 241 midi files.

That makes it an easy pass considering I acquired everything T-Racks last month.

I still think it's one of the coolest DAWs ever. If they would have had a dedicated piano roll page it was going to be my main DAW. I still love the GUI. I've got the original light skin running.

I have the Black Ambient and Close. An upgrade would cost me more.

I have two old machines with Acid 8. I'm not sure it's worth $20 to upgrade.

I'll wait to see what freebie PB is offering next month.

What is really going to hurt them is creating confusion for the end user. Their licensing sucks. More developers that rely on iLok even have multiple installs. Waves might as well be an iLok only product.

I don't like that everything is done in Logic. For some reason it doesn't translate well for me in other DAWs.

So far I don't see any plugins updated to 11. It's just Waves Central. I installed their freebies on my other machines and the H Compressor is still at 10.

Very surprising since Cubase is claimed to be more resource efficient than Cakewalk. There is a similarity on one core which means that's probably on the developer's side.

GPO is underrated. Sure it doesn't sound like the big boys and has fewer articulations but you can lay down some stuff pretty fast.

I think I'll let my Waves collect dust and rot. I've acquired all of T-Racks, got Ozone 9, Melda, and probably some other stuff I can't remember.

I wonder if DJ will get some backlash for that.
