  1. I was shocked when VSL replies on the weekends. IK does respond the next day if not on a weekend.
  2. My licenses show up to 10 authorizations so I don't think it's a machine limit.
  3. It doesn't really make sense since these are NFR licenses. My only other thought it was designed so people don't accidentally choose the same license again.
  4. Most are TR5 singles to chose. Once again that is odd. My situation may be taken care of. This is the first time I've had issues with this. I think I have 3 licenses of ST libraries like Sonic Synth 2 that probably came from promotions. Plus the most of the Amplitube stuff I could chose would be 2nd licenses. So if this goes to the next tier the hassle will begin again. I repeat again - odd.
  5. I have 16 items not greyed out and I have them already. Odd. This is so messed up.
  6. So many options emailing support. I emailed support last night, Nothing yet.
  7. But do you have everything in the group buy?
  8. Ever watch Office Space when they announce the two Bobs are here to help out? It's the same BS. People just wanna push the subscription model panic button. They have to make it sound positive laying off 200 people. I'd say them buying Loop Loft has become a sunken cost. I use to get emails every week before NI bought them. Every week there was a freebie for buying something. It was a major contributor to GAS. Not now.
  9. There's always something great but..........there's always a catch. I've forked over $350 in this group buy. I have everything. I have 4 machines and it's not unusual to have duplicate licenses despite the great 10 authorizations. The issue I have is now my selections are even more limited and those would be duplicates. I have no intention of selling software. I make my bed and lay in it despite any disappointment. For me to get a duplicate of something I would have to create a new account and pay to transfer it to my other account. Sounds stupid to me. And the fine print IK Multimedia reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate or modify the promotion. Well I guess they did in my case. So at some point many of you will have no choices left. One could make the case of acting entitled or looking a gift horse in the mouth but these promotions are made to get sales. The group buy prompted my to buy an Axe. I didn't need it but it's a great unit. One day it's being a member of the IK fan club then there is a policy where it's like never again. There are plenty of "never again" out there in other forums. I was in the never again crowd until a month ago. See what changed my mind? IK makes some great hardware (except keys). If it weren't for the hardware I would have blown this off. But once again this issue puts me on the hate side of IK. Maybe they will change this so I will be happy again. But it's these little things that prompt me to go with the never again crowd. Part of me wants to broadcast this everywhere but I don't want to mess with them possibly changing their ways when there is a possibility of others getting their promotions while some of ours will lay dormant. It's like being invited to dine at Subway and only allowing whiter bread on veggies, no sauce.
  10. Which will be pointless since there is no such thing as getting duplicates if you have everything.
  11. There's no factual statement. It's just the usual vague mumbo jumbo put out by companies.
  12. Let's all push the "Subscription Model Panic Button". This is the latest trend in DAW paranoia. The only concern should be if Gibson bought them.
  13. I doubt they will. Adobe is so different that far more people edit photos than people use DAWs. I wonder if the cuts are more towards library developers since they are not regarded as high quality instruments compared to 3rd party developers. The only way they can unload these libraries is to package them in Komplete.
  14. No, but in some ways it's apples and oranges.
  15. So which 4 SE sounds make it worth while? I've had ST ever since it came out. I'm not critical of ST, I forget it's there. My only criticism is the amount of drive space the other versions take up. I have just about every ST3 library. I can't imagine someone auditioned all of ST Max. I'd like to see ST challenge Kontakt as a sampler someday.
  16. Maybe Insiders get a better version. It' s like out of the oven Krispy Kreme's vs. the retail box versions. I'd say middle finger up to MS as well when their latest (f)updates screw my home network.
  17. I have 32C v4. Easy pass for me. I have too many DAWs and I don't see the benefit of this one. Plus you don't really get a "I'll get it anyway" upgrade price like Presonus does with S1. It doesn't appeal to me.
  18. I get Melda one piece at a time or wait for the 50% off bundle. The bad thing now is you are charged local sales tax. Mine is 8.6%.
  19. They just need to keep ahead and kill all of those rants on their FB page and let the fanboys shine.
  20. The grass is not always greener on the other side. Unfortunately both sides have to deal with the (d)evolving OS.
  21. "Your AXE I/O purchase allows you to redeem bonus content from this dropdown list, valued at $/€349.99 or less! :" It won't let me pick what I want. Scrolling skips a lot of stuff. I want another copy of TR5. What is up with that? The same issue exists on Chrome and FF. Anyone else have this issue?
  22. That's the thing. I have TRacks, Ozone, Nuetron. I don't need to load anything online, I'm too busy window shopping or buying to actually make something.
  23. It's a new product. Group buys are rare these days so it's hard to compare what others do. If it were offered many of us would get it free. I admit the money put in IK products vs. the return is very lopsided in my favor. You could wait for the next group buy to get it. If I was just starting in this DAW madness, TR5 and the extra choices would be killer.
  24. Even under their old system I bought stuff I rarely use like Drum Exchanger, Ranger Plus. I'm hoping my days of hoarding plugins are over. I'm too stupid to know how to use most of them. Plus I have all of IK's offerings. I think the the better deal with a $25 voucher is when Thorn is $99. Now it's $199. No thanks, I don't need another synth ever and would get Serum for $10 less if I were to spend on another synth. I hope that in the industry the subscription model fails. There are some that use subs for extreme high end software. Products we've been using have subs but they are not heavily advertised. There are companies that realize the hobbyist is the largest market. You might get some of that group to subscribe. Splice and Melda do it right but I'm not a fan of the Rent-A-Center approach either. Some have pointed out that PA stuff is rarely updated. Maybe it doesn't need it. Unfiltered Audio takes something only to rebrand it. Some of the displeasure is leaking out on their FB page about the subscription model. If the subscription model tries to be a trend I hope it fails. There are some who have sense enough to realize that. Raising prices won't change that. There are too many small developers who will offer something for $5-$50 and just as good. Plus there is no shortage of good sounding amateur stuff on youtube with people using stock plugins. There's also plenty of developers selling DAW templates using stock plugins.
  25. Still ? why I would need Expose.
