  1. Those who did would swear up and down it was one of the best purchases ever just so they don't feel stupid.
  2. I'm thinking of getting Slow. (the library)
  3. You made a great purchase
  4. I wonder if anyone would buy it.
  5. There was a thread at vi-control addressing the lack of quality. This is the only thread that has mentioned this developer. Basically these are not hidden gems. Some have bought from them then deleted them.
  6. Those aren't supported anymore and people don't have the best luck with them. One thing I've learned is never buy hardware from software developers. My favorite app in Reason is Redrum. It's so easy to use. If it were a VST I'd be all over it. BTW the same applies for Live's Suite. They threw in an instrument or two, no updates on Sampler, orchestra sounds I think are from Sonivox which you can get cheap. I doubt those REs would be disabled but if you don't upgrade Live's Suite you lose things.
  7. Probably not because you missed out getting your copy of Reason when they ditched Record.
  8. I'm learning anything with Suite in it becomes less of s value over time when upgrading. The issue I have is with sample based REs. The samples have to remain on your C drive and are located in the My Music folder. While some do the the 'make link" thing the developers haven't figured out how do allow additional content to be moved elsewhere. Only Reason is like this. I think most advanced users probably have something that is superior in VST format than what is in Reason. Buying REs are kinda pricey because the developers only gets half. Any Kontakt library that is ported to RE is inferior.
  9. I watched a video yesterday on leslie simulators. The AT has a better bottom end than the TR version. I'll get the AT version.
  10. You can also do that with Amplitube. Just insert it in the effects rack. You can add the Tracks Leslie after Amplitube. IK discontinued where you got both in a package.
  11. Magix Humble Bundle. Upgraded 2 machines to 64 bit Soundforge. Put AP8 on two old machines. Acid Music Studio would be handy if I ever got a laptop iZotope Music Production Suite 2.1 VSL upgrades SE1&2 for their new player.
  12. Between all of these DAWs and other packages I have about 40 licenses of Melodyne Essential. I don't even know why they bother to sell Essentials.
  13. Don't know whether to get the TR Leslie or the AT Leslie.
  14. This is a decent deal since you get a discount on a second plugin. I don't know if you get that at EP.
  15. You would find many of this in CM downloads.
  16. This is an underrated DAW. What's nice is the upgrade pricing on new versions.
  17. FL Studio had that some time ago. Plus the new thing in VSTs is pattern generators.
  18. My first SSD was an Intel. It gave out at year 3 but has a 5 yr warranty. Their RMA service has two options. Ship it and they send you a new one. They ship one to you for $25 and you send it back. They temporarily charge you the price of the drive and remove it when your drive returns. So their support is good. The drawback to an nvme is they use up two sata ports. If you store a lot of stuff on a desktop I wouldn't want these. They would be great for laptops. I still don't have 100% faith in the durability of SSDs. My biggest factor is RMA service. I can't roll with a cheap SSD and it craps out after 3 years and think it's only $30 a year. I still have WD Blue HDDs that still run, 9800GT card, all 3 M Audio Deltas. that still run. So with SSDs, warranty and RMA are my top concerns.
