Also refurbished. Trust factor is always low for me.

I have it and not really used it. It's not alone.

Spitfire GAIKA's War Island — Expansive Industrial Soundscapes

Nice to see them getting in the the budget market. I'd get this but it would collect space. I would think equivalents would be found in the Arturia collection, Spire, and Serum. -
I thought about this but with everything from Rigid Audio there is probably an equivalent. While supplies last = easy pass.

It's probably fake product. For Soundpaint it should be 9gb.

Nope

There are no bargains on WUP until Waves says so. Hopefully they will get with it like other developers that allow extra machines without going through a small hassle. Thy still have the Diamond upgrade offer. I've moved away from Waves since I have 3 systems. They rarely come out with a dud. They are still one of the best developers around,

The reality is taking over someone's coding is far easier said than done. With all of these other apps these days these are probably not replacements. Both require demonized Java. Java on a system is as annoying as popup ads. I have Liquid Rhythm and don't use it.

A question we all need to answer. I'm moving away from Kontakt based synths. How many of these sounds can be duplicated using VSTs using less disk space. Karany stuff is nice.
-
The drawback is some of those presets may need the effects you have to buy to get them to fully work.

I wasn't an adult yet. Eventually Reality 101 sets in, and I'm still a student.

13GB. I'm sure there are people on another forum giving it praise. I'm thinking of donning a fire suit and expose the bloat. Vocal romplers pretty much get less use.

It was easier 50 years ago. Less distractions.

IK Multimedia AmpliTube X-Drive distortion pedal plugin, FREE

I guess they think you will never legally run out of licenses. That would be pretty hard to do unless one violates a EULA. -
All of the professionals in music seem to use less gear. I've rarely seen them switch guitars. Usually a guitar or bass player in an amateur band like to use a performance to show every instrument they have. I met a guy who had 13 tubas and that was after his wife made him get rid of 3 of them. I don't play guitar much but I have 5 and 2 basses, 3 if you count the tuba. I have a clarinet I got from a pawn shop over a year ago and haven't tested it yet. I have to find my reeds. If we only put the time in our musical abilities instead of forums or buying stuff.

You can only have 2 machines in an XLN account. I had to use another email for a 3rd machine. This is why I won't buy their stuff. -
Still addicted to Just Cause 2 which can be had for cheap.

You probably have them. I found out I did since since I have TS Max 3.5. -

If it does than it's news to me. Maybe that's why I didn't get the popup. -
It's not unusual in other areas. You should see how crazy it can be for golfers. They even market that a certain set of golf balls will improve your game. I've even been there with fishing rods, lures, and lines. I also think it is hereditary. My grandpa's basement was full of John Deere collectables. People do the same thing with tools for the kitchen. Even if we stop buying plugins our hoarding moves to a different area. I've got a zillion presets and a back log of tutorials. I think it is starting to sink in I will most likely die before I make good use of everything.
-
I'll eventually get all of them. It finally dawned on me that you get some of those presets free.

I had over 800GB of loops at one time that I cut down to under 400. I never keep those on a SSD drive. With Producer Loops stuff you can reduce their size by removing the loops labeled WET or TAILs. I always compress the full mix loops to mp3. Usually when ADSR would have like 15 packs doe $20 that the total size is around 2GB those seem to be most useful since they come with midis and presets. Unfortunately I've moved on to collecting numerous presets for all of the synths I have. I've moved on from synths made in Kontakt. With Spire, Serum, Phaseplant, one could create without using up drive space. Drive space is cheap when you don't have to buy it. BTW CM magazine has reviews of sample packs. Anything rated under 9/10 is mediocre.

No. Am I the only one who never gets that REDEEM popup? -

People gettin upset over VST2 when so many developers haven't completely dropped 32 bit. See NI, Melda. -
I have many of those listed. IF you want to fill your drive only for the purpose of filling your drive this would be it. I'm learning that smaller size packs seem to be more useful. I haven't fully auditioned the last group of packs from the previous one.
