  1. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/UCA222--behringer-u-control-uca222-usb-audio-interface These are actually quite underrated.
  2. What cards do you have? I'm thinking of going this route. The only thing is mounting the SSDs. I might have to use duct tape.
  3. It's better. You get $5 off. That pushed me over the edge to get Dronar Woodwinds.
  4. I have all of my SATA ports used up. Each System has about 3 2TB HDDs. I'm thinking of removing a lot of stuff rarely used and switching those drives to 1TB SSDs. I probably don't ever use 75% that comes in Komplete Ultimate. I've finally got my collection of loops down to under 400gb. Sampletank eats a lot of space.
  5. SHUTUP! (downloading now) BTW Sample Library Review pushed me over.
  6. I'm finding if you need to convert audio to midi it's price is not even close to a holy grail. Some DAWs that have their own are probably an equal.
  7. I'd bet anyone who paid $500 for a software EQ will swear by it to avoid looking like a fool.
  8. I'll take Paulo's wisdom. 2gb vs. 7gb, It's not a must have library. If I need space for more Kontakt libraries I'd ditch the Kontakt version too.
  9. Easy pass on this. I don't care how good it is. I have channel strips from IK and PA. They exist on 3 machines. So far I haven't used one either.
  10. It's been like this for at least a couple of years.
  11. As for one being overloaded with plugins you could be like the other kids on the block with a new pair of shoes but I'll pass since I would forget I have it and rarely use it. Sure it's highly touted but I will pass.
  12. It has to be since it is a physical box of a previous release.
  13. I get tired of these players where you have little control of distribution.
  14. I'm less of a fan of apps that don't allow you more control of distribution. This is the problem with most romplers. At least with Sampletank, Kontakt, I can archive the downloads which is handy for multiple machines. I'm not fond of the bloatness in Soundpaint. Angels is under 2gb for Kontakt.
  15. Hard to fathom that the Commodore 64 is 63gb for the full blown version. There are some that are gaga over this. I would think these could be duplicated on any softsynth.
  16. Yes. I like their midi packs. As for software it usually doesn't have any documentation.
  17. I should be called the "meh" sale.
  18. My only concern about Soundpaint is how big these libraries can be. That seems to be an 8dio trademark. Too many sample developers are into bloat that makes game developers jealous. I'm still amazed how Spitfire made that 300mb BBC sound great. It's not the libraries that are so expensive as much as buying the drive space to host them.
  19. Some are probably not aware how terrible VSL's license replacement policy was. They started selling dongle insurance. Hopefully that will change. If VSL every goes to a 2 machine limit I'll be a big fan.
  20. Same here. I read the reviews but the free stuff doesn't really do much for me since I have so much stuff. I do archive the downloads.
