if you're talking about Mercuriall - refresh your browser cache. I meant Revalver. I thought someone said the bundle sale ended Friday, but it is still going on.
-
Still showing the sale price...
-
In addition, the upgrade price was around the same as the BF sale price on the full version BREVERB.
-
You're a few months early with that one.
-
It's an emulation of an EMT plate reverb. A lot of multimode reverbs will have a plate algorithm and there are a lot of impulses taken from these devices available for convolution reverbs. Even with a lot of reverb options available I think this is still worth having.

If I'm not mistaken, the Melda turbo delay can do some similar stuff. I do like the way Objeq delay can turn a simple percussion loop into a full fledged drum circle.

Their servers get slammed whenever they do giveaways.

There are two things about Mixcraft that really turned me off when I last looked at it. One was having the transport in the middle of the screen where it will get obscured whenever you view a plugin (it sounds like that might not be an issue any more). The other was the lack of MIDI file preview.
-
I still have the same issue. Also tried Bitwig, could not see them either. At this point it's not worth the effort. Ampire is really nice for an included plugin, but I don't need it. And I usually don't get far enough in projects these days that I need to worry about which compressors are best.

Was dealing with that last night. They said the installer app was supposed to install vsts but no joy for me either.

Don't laugh, but I'd be more interested in that than the Satch pack. Don't get me wrong, he's an extraordinary player with perfectly good tone. Most of his amps and pedals, though, aren't that much different from what Amplitube already offers. That's the reason I suggested the Nels Cline pack. It doesn't matter if you are in awe of his playing or are someone who has never heard of him or Wilco. There's some good stuff in his rig that's worth having that isn't already in Amplitube, and that's way more interesting to me than trying to get any specific player's sound.

How about modeling this guy's rig instead? https://www.premierguitar.com/articles/Rig_Rundown_Wilcos_Nels_Cline

I would like it a lot more if they gave you the ability to preview MIDI files to the current track. When you try it plays notes on a tone generator. Not good for auditioning MIDI drums.

ReValver Acquired by Audio Media Research - Revalver is now FREE!!!
Magic Russ replied to cclarry's topic in Deals
Long story short: It depends on what you have and what you want. I don't think anything in the free bank is a must have for anyone that doesn't already have one of the other major amp sims. However, if you are interested in one of the Peavey or Budda amps (I like the Classic 30 for example) you might want to download Revalver so you can demo that model. -
Confused beginner. How do I get all the free instruments?

I did a fresh install some time back and hadn't re-installed Revalver until now, and I it did not ask me to identify a USB device. Perhaps, though, that information is stored on PV's end. -

I can't seem to find a list of included gear. -

Sorry, Paterno is the only one I have. I'll agree that there are a lot of good sounds in that one. Also, regarding the TC - it was their "Smorgasbord" series, most of which are upgraded versions of Behringer pedals (same parent company now) which go for $50-60 normally. Still, the Afterglow Chorus sounded pretty good in the YT reviews I saw, as well as the Thunderstorm Flanger.

It used to be that the free Sennheiser DrumMic'A library and Embertone Arcana qualified, but I am not sure if they still do.
-
Somehow I managed to stay on plan. 6 Chromaphone libraries for $50 3 EZ Key libraries for ~$8 each Dream Machines expansion. 4 Ugritone MIDI packs (Rock, Grunge, NWOBHM, and Heartland) I was considering jumping on the TC Electronic 2 pedals for $75 deal, but missed it.
-
I don't know if people here are generally aware of this, but it costs developers a lot of money to make their libraries compatible with the Kontakt Player. If you are expecting that small developers are going to make instruments for Kontakt Player that won't cost you anything, you will be disappointed. There is no rational reason anyone should expect free Kontakt libraries to come with the Kontakt Player. That makes any requested "RFK" tag or some such nonsense pretty much redundant.

Unfortunately people do that all the time.
