  1. Did you save the file accordingly? Prehaps you did not save it as a CWP file?
  2. Here's the issue I always have with these question and the " is it good for [specific] genre." Every DAW out there literally is just the workstation. You can create all types of music in them. Yes, some comes with more effects than others, others have more features and brings better workflows -- thats it. That being said: Each have one thing in common - to make music. It is not the DAW that creates the genre - it is the person using it the DAW. Its like asking: ? is the value of a $100 Note, better than two $50 Notes. ? The only thing that will bring a "limit" to any DAW -- is the users ability and knowledge in creativity with sound design. Thats the only thing that separates the DAW from the Genre.
  3. How can the Lion be the "King" of the jungle, but he dont even live there? ?
  4. As it is: You can do everything here with the keyboard. It is a much SAFER way to do things "manually" anyway. Read the document to get all the needed shortcuts to navigate through Cakewalk with minimal mouse use.
  5. I assume you're refereing to the video I made on how to do varispeed in Cakewalk using the "Loop Construction." This one: https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/topic/49641-fr-loop-construction/ The Loop Construction looks like a sampler, but it is far from one. You can access it by pressing Alt+7 to open it. There's not much to it though accept for doing pitch notes - and that's it. Unfortunately, Cakewalk does not have a sampler. Assuming you have read the post - aka Feature Request as what it is you will notice that we're trying to move the LP (loop constructions) automation envelopes to the itself for more flexiblity on the pitch envelopes. Kindly be so kind to put a +1 as a vote in the above. That would help a lot and be much appreciated.
  6. Yes create a mini dump and send it to the support team.
  7. Anyone else experiencing this?
  8. 1: Check that your Antivirus is not blocking it as a "potential virus." 2: Hold down the SHIFT KEY and confirm if it opens in Safe Mode. 3: This could be a corrupted registry file causing the issue - so a windows backup restore point might fix the issue.
  9. Next just select a track and bit CTRL+A and SHIFT+L
  10. Yeah. This happens some times. I just never think anything of it. It's not only specific to instrument tracks though.
  11. Check all the requests (with their dates) here and look at their release dates of StOne V5 and now V6. Some of the things are requested on their forums, but way later than the dates on this forum, and these are unique only to CbB feature requests. One in particular: The new Automation curves they have . . . I've requested here - version 5 dropped and BOOM! They have it. It's nowhere to be found on their forum | nor their social media pages. I've looked it up. The curves I'm talking about are gated curves that works with snap settings. - including the s-shaped curves to create a tremolo effect when snapping it to grid. Obviously, it could be members taking these requests over their too. Nonetheless: These were requests unique only to CbB.
  12. Which of the following is correct? • Question • Request • Complaint • Demand (Test Marks Out Of 4)
  13. They "took" yet again ideas that was requested here - like the Flip faders was requested here | and | the Mixing Overview Window feature.
  14. Heres the pudding to this bug. Delay.mp4
  15. At first I thought i was the LoudMax limite, but lately its hapoen randomly. Everytime since the last release when ever I do my gain stage certain tracks would keep its current state volume, even while making a +/- volume tweak until i mute or unmute the track for the difference to kick in. I honestly thought (as mentioned above) that it was something with the LoudMax limiter. I really like this little powerful gizmo that's why, the thought of compatability became a question to it lately in my projects. Today this issue happened on a project with no effects on it and only the wave files from the client whom also happened to be using CbB - Yes, Cakewalk is catching up again! Proud to say it. Anyway . . . Has anyway else experience this? Its like the channel locks up and kicks back in on a certain tweak again.
  16. Not sure if its a bug, I hardly make use of this feature. Mix recall resets everything except the gain knobs/controls.
  17. I want to be sarcastic with this one ? but i wont. With laptops theres no way to get around this unfortunetly. Even condenser mics picks up the A/C in your studio including other noises. Because its a built-in mic the motor of the fan vibrates through the casing/chasis of the laptop in to the mic creating the hum and air noice you hear, even when its quiet to the naked ear - considering where the mic sits and fan is located in that tiny case. If this was with outboad gear, I wouldve suggested you check all wall sockets for earth leak related issues and even in your cables, but - yeah: There's no way to avoid/isolate/remove these noises within a laptop. Grab yourself the BM-800 condenser mic kit for as little as $8. Its crazy how decent this mic sounds for its price - that's why it's so popular amongst the youth and podcasters on youtube today.
  18. Ouch! • When automating one channel in the Sonitus Delay manually - automation introduce clicks and pops. • When automating one channel in the Valhalla delay it starts in stereo on replay. • Same clicks and pops with the Manny delay when automating one channel. So basically when you're creating a mono out to stereo | or | a longer time delay in on channel - theres bugs. Yikes! It even exports with these sounds too.
  19. I can give you a lot of reasons. So i will start by saying - it affects the FX bin. In the world of creativity - you only want have a little bit of drive on the Compressor or only the EQ because you want your compressor clean or an uncolored EQ sound. This is where using a compressor with a built-in drive or an EQ with a built-in drive comes handy as this only affects the compressor an not the entire chain. It is most commonly used in HIPHOP, EDM, Heavy Metal and certain Rock styles especially where the use of "Autotune" on vocals and heavy hitting 808's are prominent.
  20. What? Dude, you're missing out big time on your 808's and vocals with this feature. Download buy the W2395c EQ by Fuse Audio Labs. Theres the Scheps 73 EQ and SonEQ by Sonimus as well. Just to mention a few. Theres great freebies too with this built-in. You get compressors with a built-in drive knob as well.
  21. Sure. Vote or your topic on a weekly basis, so people can see it.
