Jeff, this reminds of coming home from school and the old man would be playing the piano. You had to sit on the porch and listen, ‘cause if you came thru the door down went the lid on the keys. The older I get the louder I mix the vocals. Serve the song. If we’re telling a story, I want to hear it. (just my nickel98). I don’t find the guitars “thin”, but different strokes... t Bose cans btoothed to the iPhone. not ideal either... almost forgot to add I enjoyed the listen.

I see what you did there ? the high hat, I hear it early on perfectly before the track gets going. Then as all the “voices” coalesce its “gone”. Again, I think it’s “me” ( ears & cans) not the mix. t

Who doesn’t love a good space odyssey/oddity? I’ll not comment on “Manthric” for fear of revealing my ignorance (is that what I just did? ?) I’d bring up the “hat” but I fear that deficiency is more about my much abused ears and not your track. Overall, high marks here, always a fan! t @Bajan Blueyou’re walk-in’ all over me man ?

More fine songwriting here; as always. Tone and ambiance on the solo guitar is a “treat”; well done! I’m not hearing a top hat; is that right? I think to Mark’s point that would help “drive” the tune along. (bear in mind my ears are not what they used to be, and I’m listening on Bose cans so?) As to “pitchy” vocals, we can only do the “best” we can.... (it takes one to know one, and I have a boatload of “know” when it comes to “pitchy” ?) All in all another “heroic” production! (see what I did there?) t would have left comments and a “like” over at SoundCloud, but sadly SC and my phone don’t get along.

It didn’t come with a hard copy of the manual? I know both the UFX and UFX+ did. the BabyFace, I’d have to search the bookcase... t
