Toontrack announces first of several Black Friday Week promotions
DeeringAmps replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Never happened before... Picked up the Upright (even though I have the Vintage Upright) and two of the midi packs that I didn't have. At $12 each they are priced a bit better that the $86 Six Pack price (about $14.33 each currently at Thomann Music) t -

At $39 the Upright is priced "right"! This is an eco system that "draws you in". Longtime toon user; EZD, SD2, EZKeys, EZBass, SD3, EZD3; tons of midi and expansions. (too many expansions, really). Every EZKeys user is waiting with bated breath for the (hopefully inevitable) EZKeys2. EZKeys is "clunked" and not nearly as "searchable" as the other 3. Don't take that to mean its not "usable". Getting in at $39 will have you set for the launch of EZKeys2, and "locks in" the "upgrade" price point. In the meantime, you'll work with it (there's a learning curve), and hopefully get some good use out of it... t Toon made it very clear that the window was closing. It's a tough one to swallow; we both agree on that. Most software companies have an "everyday" retail that no one "in the know" ever pays. Some like FabFilter only discount once or twice a year. At Toon, you buy expansions in "bulk" and "midi six packs". And now, when they warn us that the door is closing? WE PAY ATTENTION! But, as stated above, longtime user here (read that as FanBoi), totally committed to the eco system. Grabbed EZB when it launched (HATED IT! Now that I've learned to use it; LOVE IT!) The upgrade to EZD3; absolute NO-BRAINER! (and given how they worked the SD upgrade path, went all in immediately; no question!) just my nickel98, not trying to "pick a fight" here. Totally respect your opinion and experience... -
?'s to all ? t one quick comment; whenever I see a tune is going to run 5+ minutes I can't help but think "oh boy" (and not in a good way). However, this did NOT seem like its 5+; and that's a big Well Done! here... so one more ?'s

Bert the bones are here. It would seem the general consensus is that it is not quite ready for prime-time. Lots of good suggestions. t

This is America Jesse, there is more than enough pie to go around; its not a zero sum game. heartily agree... t

No issues opening the Toon vst3 noted above. Running the latest CbB. Pretty sure I had Ozone 9 (vst3) running on a different project; no issues. t

Had a crash moving midi from EZDrummer 3 (vst3) to EZBass (vst2). Replaced the EZB vst2 with EZB vst3 and moving midi was no problem. Crash dump attached, although I assume it is a Toon issue. that is all.... t Version 1.1.6 (build 34520) [64-bit VST 2]-20221115-165309.dmp

Yup! Most of my m.2 (1TB) is ToonTrack. t

I have 870's in 250GB, 1TB and 2TB (Whoops, the 2TB is an 860). Never an issue here with one. With the price protection I guess its a no-brainer. Ordered! t

Recording a Print Track with a Dangerous D Box
DeeringAmps replied to garybrun's topic in Production Techniques
If you connect the SUM Outputs (that's an analog signal) to a pair of the Apollo analog inputs you get nothing? After reviewing the D-Box manual this is the only Summed output form the D-Box. t Evidently I didn't "Submit Reply"; better late than never... -
?'s t at the very end did I hear you quote a little riff from Them's version of Baby Please Don't Go? The pull off, then slide down...

One of the most enjoyable projects I've worked on recently.

As always Peter top shelf in every a (doh) way! ?'s ? t one question, I see Larry "whack" those cymbals, but I don't "hear" it. Is my top end that compromised? Hear the snare and toms just fine... -

Enjoyed, posting an English translation would help those of us who are not bilingual (95% of the English speaking population? We’re arrogant I know) t
