  1. My only crit Jesse is the guitar is way back in the room, if I was mixing I'd bring it more up front. I'd probably put the drums and bass in the same space as the guitar a bit. Otherwise ?'s t
  2. I still have the Gold Limited Edition and foot board in the closet... t
  3. Its not that I doubted it would go to 750, I just wanted to be sure I really needed/wanted (lets be honest, most of us don't need any more plugs!) wanted ModoBass/Drums and the B3. The demos have me convinced I'll use all three (wish I had demoed EZBass; don't you?) I have a sequence for Black Magic Woman (from somewhere) and to be honest, I sounds pretty damn fine! So I'm off to run it up to 751 762. I have ST3 (never a goto for me) so if I get ST4; fine and dandy, if I don't, BFD.... tom

    Touch

You will not be disappointed! t
  5. Isn't it ironic? (am I using that right?) ? t and I thought you had posted 2 singles... ?
  6. Is that an "effect" or the mic/signal chain? I'm agreeing there. That single note guitar gets to walking on the vocal a bit for my taste; but your song, your production. And in the chorus all I hear is background vocals, for me, one of the voice needs to lead. but again; as above, ys/yp. Fine piece of singer/songwriter work here. So ?'s on that. tom
  7. More great Kirby from ya Doug. A tiny crit, I'd put a high pass on the acoustic; that and the bass are creating a bit of mud in the low mids. I'd roll it up until the acoustic is well defined and the bass is free to breath; just my nickel98, take it with a grain of salt. That's part of the Kirby sound... ? ? t
  8. Well put! As always Jesse, ever the fan... t
  9. Well done Barry! I was on the bike (stationary bicycle) dropped my cadence and increased the resistance; a good workout. ? t

    Rowan's Ship

I must agree. If I may, I would suggest just a bit of live playing would make this very solid indeed. ? t
  11. The furry paws have been busy! Enjoyed! Are you "bonding" with EZBass? I'm thinking I might prefer MODO (bear in mind Trilian is my goto...) ? t
  12. Well its all been said above; great guitar work and tones. Was the wah work "live", or do you go back and work the wah later? ? t cool vid too...
  13. Put on your baggies and huaraches, be prepared to rinse the sand out of your crack! A side of Freddy we didn't know (well, I didn't). There's a good break up at doheny... t ? ?
  14. Nicely done Star! Gary might be right, about the 2:35-2:40ish mark there is some high stuff that might be just a bit "hot". Certainly didn't leave me bleeding, but you might look at it, maybe a high shelf to tame it just a little. t

    My Better Days

i'll just say ditto and leave it at that... t
  16. I think Brian Jones was the slide player in that generation, no? I think the guys have covered it so I'll just say; Nice One Doug! t I should add solid mix.
  17. I like it! No crits from me... t
  18. Welcome to the forum Fred. Nicely done, sounds like a soundtrack to me. That will be much appreciated... tom
  19. If I understand you right, you want only the midi? You do not want the audio from the project? PM the wrk file, converting to a .mid file is a two minute project. Tom
  20. Someone had to do it, don't know why it had to be me ? If I didn't know better, I would think you all are as lazy and good fer nuthin' as me... MODO DRUM & MODO BASS map Maybe some one can explain to me how the keyswitch Hammer On/Pull Off works... And Let Ring that's another that seems to do nothing for me enjoy t you lazy $%#$@ ? Whoops! didn't get censored this time ? I kid, I kidd
  21. Thanks @Nigel Mackay I was hoping someone else had already done the work ? (I'm am lazy and good for nuthin'; just ask my wife). I've put it up (the Modo Drum map) on my site. I'll post a map for Modo Bass as soon as the spirit moves me... t don't hold your breath; I kid, I kidd.....

    Big Moving Parts

Great stuff Peter, the writing, arrangement, performance, mix and video; really enjoyed the PIP stuff. Things sometimes "fall through the cracks", its got some traction now. t especially like the way you lay down a melody and every time its repeated its just a bit different. ear candy to be sure...
  23. For some reason I was thinking a bit earlier, The Association comes to mind; don't know why... Your voice reminds me of someone, but I can't put my finger on it. Nicely done, its working here. t
  24. Let me first say that while all the above "advice" is well intentioned, jBridge continues to work just fine in CbB in the Win 10 environment. For reasons never explained, I was one of a very small group that IK's Amplitube3x64 stopped working in Sonar. As it was my "go-to" amp sim I was forced to install jBridge (bit bridge did not work), and it has continued to work flawlessly ever since. Needless to say I have moved on to Amp4, but I digress. I also have a couple of 32bit VSTi, namely MrTramp 1 & 2 that are 32 bit only; both work flawlessly using jBridge. Again no longer my "go-to" electric pianos, but they work just fine. If you have 32 bit VST or VSTi that bit bridge will not get working for you, jBridge is certainly worth the "price of admission"... HTH, feel free to PM if you need help/advice to get jBridge up and running. tom PS: I just loaded up CbB 2020.8 and verified that both Amp2 and MrTramp are working flawlessly.
