  1. Its fine! (how often does the guitar have a slap back echo that isn't present anywhere else in the mix? see what I mean....) Great songwriting and performance again Barry! ? ? t cool ending
  2. +1 to that. I'll second that too! ? t man am I behind on my reviewing, damn this good weather; its keeping me busy all day....
  3. No, MODO Bass was/is $199. I got the day it hit 750. LE was is $149.
  4. @Fleer Certainly not trying to "rub it in", actually I was going to thank you for pushing it over the top. But, from the Group buy FAQ: CAN I USE MY JAMPOINTS REWARD DISCOUNT TO PURCHASE QUALIFYING SOFTWARE? Yes, loyal users can use their JamPoints when purchasing from the IK Online Store.JamPoints can also be used in the Custom Shop providing the payment is not made with Gear Credits. The fact that basically nothing anyone wants is available in the Custom Shop... that is a pisser t
  5. So we’re hung at 1749. Marketing ploy? How many will jump in to be “the one who pushed it over the top”?? l’m so jaded! t I will close with a thank you to IKM and all who participated. I almost pulled the trigger on Modo Drum before the sale...
  6. Price to Moab, Moab thru to Farmington. Too many times to count on all my toes and fingers... Beautiful. t
  7. I'll just echo all the above, ?'s! t It did bring to mind palm trees, a beautiful sunset, sexy bikinis, and an ice gold bottle of Patron. all the things I left behind when I immigrated to the PacNW...
  8. That's why I much prefer to buy used, that first ding on the headstock breaks my heart, if its already dinged; no worries....
  9. Took me about half way through to stop trying to fix the 1, and let the tune dictate where it falls. I was auditioning some 5/4 stuff and didn't "struggle" as much with the 1 in that. So 7 is tougher? I don't recall ever playing any 7/8 stuff... t
  10. Obviously the furry ears are much more sensitive than my (very battered and frequency limited) non-fuzzy ones. I am the first to admit I do not possess the "golden ears" I wish I had... t
  11. The 336 is a small body? I thought it was a figured maple top 335, my “Nashville” Gibson expertise is a bit “thin” I must admit. Pretty sure my 339 was “solid” under the pups, or as you said “blocked”. Yes, it’s not a LP, but neither is a 335. BTW, even though the 339 was the best of the Custom Shops I’ve owned, I turned her when I was offered more than I had in her. Wasn’t one I couldn’t live without. Only one Kalamazoo left in the herd, not for sale at any price... t
  12. A friend has one, I think Heritage labels them the H-355. As good a 335 as I've ever played. The 339 is just a better size and weight. Like I said above, if the original 335 had been the size of the 339, the LP would have withered and died (which it actually did if you all remember). t
  13. Well done there! No Nectar this time? Just me, but I think this is a big improvement; but as always so much is material dependent... Another solid cover John! t
  14. Good advice that. Otherwise solid presentation. t

    tomorrow

I'll second Wookiee's evaluation. Genre's are tough for me, but dance and edm for this one? but as I am an admitted aging rocker, wtf do I know... tom
  16. I'll just second that, but add you're being a bit hard on yourself... t

I'd add a little silence before the intro (sometimes I wonder if the hosts are truncating the files, I know iTunes seems to do this on my wife's iphone, but generally its at the end). Finally got there, boy that's a "button tite" ending, pretty sure not what you wanted! Bring up the sax a bit; just me... The "ping pong", on the electric piano chords is a bit strong VKFX? (reminds me of my first listen to the Stand Up album; I was watching the guitars pan back and forth; it was the late 60's, what can I say...) No cigar for me, and make mine Vodka (a double; Goose works) Gran Marnier on the side please... t what time do we go on? Maybe the opening act would like to play another 30 minutes? No honey, I don't need another; but i will keep the ice, leave the glass... thank you
  18. Much improved I think! t still EZB on this, or did you revert to the Scarbee?
  19. You had to make me look, and now its something I can never unsee... Not the knockers, not even the "buns", its the g-string; argggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
  20. Buy an ES-339, its a scaled down 335. If the original 335's had been this size, LP sales would have withered and died (this from a Les Paul guy, I've owned many of them 50's gold top's and customs right on thru to the "We finally got it right" Brazilian board 2003's). Have several PRS's including an HB-II; not a bad choice either... tom

I'm still trying to put my finger on who Allan reminds me of, that's as good as any... ? t I'm confused too Sabby....
