Native Instruments Session Guitarist Electric Vintage
jesse g replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Soundwise. it's not always about not knowing how to play the instrument, it also about having access to a multitude of instruments one would not normally be able to afford and also have their distinct sound that instrument creates. My physical bass collection is a single Schecter DLX4 bass, but by using MODO bass, I have a vast array of basses and their sounds. Also, I own one Korg TR 61 Workstation, however, I posses Yahmaha's, Moog, Roland, Kawai by purchasing soft synths. Real instruments are always needed, but it's the various sound we can get from the synths, is which we seek -

Larry, I got my Plugin Deal for today after all. ?
-
The sound difference is awakening based on which plugins you've used. I love the sound these two plugins add to mixes I've substituted previous EQ and bus compressor plugins I had in the mixes before. You can't beat this deal no matter when you decide to use the plugins .

Just got in on the deal for $49.99 plus tax makes it a nice deal at $52.99 Last day is today, February 19 at Sweetwater

???????????? Good one Larry, nice plugin.

I have Sound Toys Little Alter Boy . If you already have that plugin, then Waves Vocal Bender will be a duplicate plugin.

I have removed the Makie Control surface from preferences and adding it again. but it continues to do the same thing with the Master Fader and Main Out Faders 1/2 I also deleted %APPDATA%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core\ctrlsurface.dat but the faders are still dropping to the ob the control surfade. I replaced my MackieControl.ini and dll files with backup that I saved a copy of, but that didn't help Any other suggestions.
-
I think Christopher is right I opened my old project and on my Mackie Control Surface, the Master Fader is down at the bottom, When I hit the button to show my outputs, the Faders for outputs 1/2 are are the bottom also. When I double click then to return to Zero, they immediately go back to the bottom. This is crazy because all of my old projects are appearing like this n ow.

Terry, We are with you in spirit man!!! Much Love

Mackie Control no longer working with Cakewalk
jesse g replied to Frank DeFede's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Check you Bank buttons on you MCU Mackie Control: BANK LEFT and BANK RIGHT Buttons The Mackie Control provides eight sets of channel strip controls, allowing you to edit eight corresponding channels. The BANK LEFT and BANK RIGHT buttons let you move between “banks” of eight channel strips. For example, if you are editing channel strips 1–8, pressing the BANK RIGHT button moves to channel strips 9–16. Pressing BANK RIGHT again moves to channel strips 17–24. Pressing BANK LEFT returns to channel strips 9–16, then to 1–8 with one more button press. If you are using a control surface group, the BANK LEFT and BANK RIGHT buttons shift the active channel strips by the total number of channels in the control surface group. For example, if you have a Mackie Control and two Mackie Control XT units, the view shifts by 24 channels—the total number of channels in the control surface group. The BANK buttons always change channel strips in groups of eight, unless the last channel strips do not make a complete group of eight. For example, if a project has 19 channel strips, and the Mackie Control is controlling channel strips 1 to 8: Pressing the BANK RIGHT button shifts to channel strips 9 to 16. Pressing the BANK RIGHT button again shifts to channel strips 12 to 19. Pressing the BANK LEFT button shifts back to channel strips 9 to 16, not 4 to 11. This way, you always revert to the channel strips you expect to find, and are comfortable with. -

Sorry, but the German language took me for a loop. I didn't know what I was doing on the website, so I closed the website and just forgot about it. Word Fleer?

Larry I purchased a used iPad from a student at my local University so I could use the AC-7. I think I paid $150 at that time. It 's rather cool to use your tablet to control the entire recording process from a cross the room or from an other room. Using AC-7 HD Control

Larry, Didn't we dabble with Lemur a few year ago using iPad's? I know some members liked it because of the coding while other liked AC-7 core HD which I still use on my iPad with CbB. I didn't really like Lemur, but others thought is was great for remote mixing. Here is the Old Thread for Lemur Here is the Thread for Lemur and AC-7

Got it with T-Racks 5 Max ?

I was getting the error message too, so I opened Task Manager and ended the cakewalk update that was not updating. I then followed Larry's advice and updated my Waves. Next I ran the Cakewalk update from Band Lab Assistant and it updated without a hitch.
