  1. Larry, Ambient pop. I like the concept. The intro is a bit long and you have those 4 notes repeated throughout. They would make a nice background if you lay something on top. Also the timing seems a bit off in places. But overall it's very promising for sure. -Bjorn

    September Nights

So not an old Finnish traditional song this time? Sounds good Markku. I try to bend notes in MIDI but they never sound as good as the real thing. -Bjorn

    cats

Hey Jack Of all the songs of yours I've heard, this one is the best. The intro pulled me in with that kind of Spanish scale you have going on. The voc treatment is very good tho I still don't understand most of the lyrics (but I think that's just me and my declining hearing). I like all the abrupt changes but most of all I like the melodic phrases. Very catchy. -Bjorn
  4. Great video and music. I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks for mentioning Cartoon Editor which is something I was looking for. Gonna check it out -Bjorn

    New Dawn

Great video and wonderful vocal performance. Nice to see the occasional video that is not stock footage. Only crit I have is the lip syncing which I found a little distracting. But as always that's just one person's opinion. -Bjorn
  6. Love the story behind the song. Found myself listening to the words more than the music. Voc is nicely forward and placed just right. You're only slightly off on some of the pitch issues mentioned. If you're not averse to it, you could easily fix the pitches with Melodyne. -Bjorn
  7. Never thought I'd hear drug company names in a song. ? Just a great rockin' song. Love the drums. -Bjorn

    Fiddle Tune

Fiddle tune I got the Indiginus Fiddle vst couple weeks ago and came up with this sort of Celtic/Irish tune. Really liking the Indiginus fiddle as well as their Renaxxance nylon string guitar. Thanks for listening/commenting. Indiginus Renaxxance Indiginus Fiddle Ilya Efimov Irish Wind Low Whistle OTS Evolution Steel String RealGuitar NI Raum reverb -Bjorn
  9. Tom, Epic trip! Thoroughly enjoyed the video. Wish I could comment more on the mix and other audio stuff but I thought it all blended together well and made one enjoyable show. Just excellent work my friend. -Bjorn
  10. Kind of an elephant sounding horn in there. I like the energetic drums where you stick in lots of musical bits. Very creative, David! -Bjorn
  11. Freddy We never get exciting weather like that here in Oregon, which is a good thing I guess. I always enjoy your good natured take on your stories. And great guitar work too. -Bjorn
  12. Nigel, Yet another great music video from Devine Lie. Don't know how you do it. -Bjorn
  13. Lynn, I stay up really late and stuff just happens. I'm a little surprised myself the next morning what I posted. I used AAS Objeq Delay on my voice. Some of the preset effects are extreme but you can dial it back. Thanks for commenting. David, Thanks. I think I need to take fewer pills actually.

    Gas Giant 2?

Wookie I like that growly bass that somehow fits the image of a gas giant planet. I never would have guessed that was EZBass via Guitar Rig if that's what it is. Nice one. -Bjorn
  15. You don't hear songs so radically changed as your cover but it works very well. You could say it's a new song (except for the lyrics) influenced by the Beatles. Wonder how many listeners are familiar with the original these days. Reminds me of another cover. Pink Martini did Que Sera Sera in a minor key which takes a little getting used to. -Bjorn
  16. I'm not a CW fan at all, but I do like some of the 40's and 50's songs because they're strong on melody. Hank Williams especially had a talent for writing engaging melodic songs. Had no idea this one was one of his. Maybe the voc track could be raised a bit here (just my opinion) but you guys did a great job! Liking it a lot. -Bjorn
  17. Same Dream Every Night I'm going to put together a video with this piece as soundtrack. There are voices on walkie talkies which will be sinister agents watching me. Or something like that. I played around with varying the tempo and inserting pitch bends here and there. I'll probably change some of the notes in the higher pitches since they didn't come out that well. It's a work in progress. Thanks for listening/commenting. -Bjorn
  18. After downloading it yesterday I got an email from Tracy saying "Please download your Fiddle again. We put in a fix of the shorts." Not sure what "shorts" means, but must refer to the staccato problem mentioned above. I'm not hearing any pops here. -Bjorn
  19. Sounds to me like you have a good grasp of composition and music theory. Just need to get the instruments to sound better and seems like you're progressing with that. -Bjorn
  20. Enjoyable listen. Appreciate the up-beat mood of the piece. Well done -Bjorn

    Nebula

Wookie and Jack C thanks! David Thanks. Appreciate the comment about the bottom end. Will look into that. -Bjorn
  22. Sometimes I find a short sequence of notes that conjure up magic somehow and it does the same to other listeners. You did that here in a couple of places in your song. Very nice. -Bjorn
  23. Freddy, I really like the 50s chords and the kind of Peter Gunn guitar styling. A fun song for sure. -Bjorn
  24. Spare composition that packs a lot of emotion. Good stuff. -Bjorn
  25. The title describes the music perfectly. You handled the orchestration really well. Beautiful. -Bjorn
