    Bloom

Reminds me of those awkward dating rituals back in high school a gazillion years ago. Nicely done music video (as usual) Nigel. Enjoyed it. -Bjorn
  2. Well that was a little different from your usual, Makke. I llke the upbeat tone of the song. Nicely orchestrated too. -Bjorn
  3. Here's another medical story. Arthritis damaged my left hand and I had surgery which helped but I still can't hold a chord for very long. It is getting better with exercise so just have to keep at it. -Bjorn
  4. Lots going on. I like how you add in new sounds and little tweaks here and there to freshen things up. Great job! Very enjoyable listen. -Bjorn
  5. I was toe tapping along to the 9/8 time and then you introduced the delays so now I don't know where I am. Good luck to your drummer! Very innovative piece! -Bjorn
  6. Larry, I was picturing a gyroscope where you wind it up, it spins for a while then slows down to a stop. The music seemed to fit that action pretty well, tho I thought the tempo should slow down even more at the end. Anyway, very creative use of different instruments. Seems like a slight glitch at 0:40? Missed beat or something. -Bjorn
  7. Steve, Great performance! Amazing how close you came to the original song. And a great concept bringing an old Beatles' song to life with the AI images. You might try some Ken Burns style zooms and pans for added interest but just my opinion. I like this one a lot. -Bjorn
  8. Jeff, That's a beautiful and emotional tribute to your mother. I did the same for my mom a while ago and I get all blubbery when I listen to it now and then. You might experience the same. -Bjorn
  9. A Walk in the Woods I started this with a really short Vangelis phrase that I liked and built it up to this. I added some old movie dialog bits here and there. I like the way they sound in the music. Thanks for listening/comments. -Bjorn Analog Lab V Falcon ACE Pigments Omnisphere Movie dialog from Resonance Sound Vintage Movie Vocals
  10. Music for Armageddon. Didn't expect it to be so perky and with a taste of the Ventures. 🙂 Nicely done esp the xylophone (?). -Bjorn

    Savant Sage

This song has a stronger melody than others I've heard from you and maybe that's what you meant by it being a bit different? Anyway that's how I took it. Wonderful video as usual Nigel. -Bjorn
  12. I'm always surprised how professional and radio worthy some songs can be around here and yours is right in there. Very well done! -Bjorn
  13. I always like your lyrics. Kind of off beat sometimes but humorous, even in a sad song like this. Really like the guitar accompaniment. I think the chorus could be emphasized a bit more, maybe with more string presence, something like that. But top notch song for sure. Enjoyed it a lot. -Bjorn

    JAUGHNTY WALK

Well that was completely different from what I'm used to hearing from you Steve. It did put a smile on my face and got my toes tapping. Nice choice of instruments/sounds esp that little whistle-y thing. Great job. -Bjorn
  15. You matter. Unless you multiply yourself by the speed of light squared. Then you Energy. E=mc2 Is there a Dad joke section?

    Road Trip

Thanks Gary. I think melodies can be like works of art. A song like Danny Boy is just as beautiful as a Van Gogh painting IMO. Thanks Treesha. Can't beat a road trip thru southwest red rocks country!

    struggling

Nicely done and yes very laid back. The vocal styling shines through well. The ending is a bit abrupt. -Bjorn
  18. Well done, Steve. I like the rather sparse backing instruments. They really bring out your unique voice and adds focus to the sad lyrics. -Bjorn

    BYE BYE BABY

Yeah maybe a little timing issue here and there but doesn't take anything away. Boy I really like the bluesy solo guitar in there. As always a great story done in the blues style. -Bjorn
  21. Beautiful images set to beautiful music. Thanks Jerry I needed that! -Bjorn

    Road Trip

Road Trip This song had been languishing on a backup drive for years. I made a few repairs, replaced some parts and polished the fenders. Ready to hit the road now. Indiginus Appalachian NI Strummed Acoustic NI Picked Nylon Omnisphere Strings Thanks for listening/commenting. -Bjorn
