Or loose/dodgy cable - I had that once with a SCSI drive (remember them?) and it caused all sorts of problems.

Any options in the Intel video driver control panel/taskbar app (it used to have one - it may not now) that look like it might affect anything? Not sure what, but if you can screenshot any options pages you have there, one of us here may have an idea...

You can disable this: - Hold down shift while opening Preferences - Navigate to the previously hidden Internal tab - Search for "grovel" - Change the values for VST and DirectX to false - Click OK and restart and enjoy

Exactly - it's all quantum. USB connectors are spin 1/2 objects ?
-
Have you never heard of many-worlds quantum theory? These are just standards from different universes ?

The browser already shows this by colour.

I did something funky with groups that enabled me to switch between outputs using a single click rather than having to change the output drop-down. A bit of a pain to get working (and I gave up with it in the end) but nifty if it works well for you.

And Melodyne 5 doesn't have a 32 bit version, so if you still need a 32 bit version, you're out of luck if you upgrade to 5.
-
Not that surprising- I doubt the 32 bit "core" has changed in later revisions of the CPUs, whereas the 64 bit piece is what they're focussing on, so changes are more likely to be made (and I assume it's an unintentional breakage!).

I loved my U110 - kind of wish I hadn't got rid of it (space aside that is!).

Macrium - boot to Windows, clone to the second drive, done.

Some years back, I identified and reported a bug to Celemony that if you were using serial number activation and had no iLok service running on your PC, then instantiating Melodyne took an age - a consistent 15 seconds IIRC. If you installed the iLok services, even if you didn't use it, then Melodyne startup was fine. The support discussion with them block holed at that point, but I'm pleased and relieved to say that it's no longer a problem as of the latest update (5.3.0.011). Only took about 5 years to get fixed, but fixed it is!

I've seen this when my router fails to connect to the internet, but my PC connects to the router fine (the router hosts the local DNS server too) - CbB (and some plugins, like Overloud ones) take an age to start under these conditions. If the internet connection is present, even if it's slow, the start up time is fast.

I think a subtle wording change on the Audio Export Dialog ("Entire Mix (Selection)" or similar) would keep everyone happy and make it clearer. That said, given the number of people over the years who've complained about selections being accidentally applied (or who have probably had it happen and not complained, like me!), an "Entire Mix (No Selection)" option which did what it says wouldn't go amiss either.

VST scan is irrelevant here as the Sonitus plugins are DirectX.
-
My guess would be it uncritically installs an older version of, say, an MFC library which break various bits of CbB. I think @Noel Borthwick has posted a thread somewhere here about hot to get/download/install the correct/latest versions.

This sounds like record or playback timing source has been set to Nothing. Had that happen to me in the past. Preferences as per @Lord Tim post above.

I'd say there are enough issues with existing plugin formats that need to be addressed first (incompatabilities, genuine surround support*, MIDI FX support, VST expression) before worrying about a nascent format that hasn't established itself. * I'm not sure this is worthwhile, personally, but it's still missing).

Melodyne correction on vocals with piano track as a reference

Ah - I think I've got the one below that. Thanks. -

Well I'd love to know how he gets the top-left pane visible (with multiple tracks) - nothing in the manual I can see and no amount of random(!) clicking in the Melodyne UI seems to make it work. -
Oh yes - about 12 today. I used to subscribe, unsubscribed, and then they restarted again. It's not uncommon from him to do this, unfortunately.

That makes perfect 0sense.
