Unless the compressor is before the A/D converter, no difference from applying it after the event. Recording with reverb/delay for vocals or through an amp sim for guitar makes sense, but that's still recording dry.

Cubase for one (I think they call it Input Bus). I think it's pretty standard. Now as to why you'd want it...I'm with you on that!

I assume the name TTS-1 is what's copyrighted, but the IP underlying it is owned/licensed by Roland.

Very helpful inMusic support person sorted out my problem.

There seems to be some issues with their CDN/download server at the moment (tried from two different machines and no joy downloading installers).

Can you bounce the plugin to audio to see if it jitters?

To be fair, I replaced an existing THU instance on a Motorhead-influenced track with one of the presets and it sounds pretty good. I also replaced the speakers in my "Lemmy" bass patch and it makes it sound more authentic. Ho hum 🙂

Must not buy more addons for THU 🙂

I finally(!) got around to downloading and installing this and it's definitely a useful one to have in the audio arsenal.

I'll just have to do it again then 🙂
