  1. I do wish Overloud would sell the additional effects that some of the Rig Libraries come with separately - I've never had any real joy with the rigs getting a sound I like, but do get what I want (usually!) from the amp/cab/effects models, so expanding the effect palette wouldn't go amiss.

    Blasts from the past(s)

Thanks both - it was quite fun (and embarrassing at times) revisiting tracks that first recorded 25 or so years ago. Eqaually, there are some bits I found where I now thought "How the hell did I do that?" ?

  4. My guess is that the window is open but hidden somewhere - try disabling floating on any other open CbB windows and see if any appear unexpectedly.
  5. I've been digging some old tracks out of cold storage, and thought I'd throw a collection of them onto Bandlab as an punningly title collection "reXoorrection": https://www.bandlab.com/xoospacemusic/albums/9bda80e3-7c60-ed11-819a-00224844caa1 As I say on the description, some have been re-mixed, some re-worked and others are just about how I found them, so I know they can be a little rough around the edges, but hopefully there's some tuneage there that some folks like.
  6. They may have been removed since then (based on my own personal workflow, I'd have liked them in PC format).
  7. Not in the demo version at least, there are no Pro Channel versions.
  8. Lightning fast again with the latest EA release - thanks!
  9. Weirdly I didn't notice it until the EA!
  10. TI is expanded and left docked; Multidock is floating.
  11. The Track Inspector does definitely take longer to be drawn now than in previous versions (I also checked with SONAR Platinum with a very small - 5 track, 2 or 3 effects - project and TI appearance is instant vs. ~0.5 seconds in the latest EA).
  12. @MichaelJohn - Thanks for the comments - I played/programmed everything apart from the vocals so I'm pleased about your musicianship comment! I've dug into some of the synth patches and cleaned them and re-uploaded...I'll get a version that really works soon.
  13. Deep Purple, Yes, Hawkwind, Pink Floyd, Rush, Dream Theater...
  14. Thanks! Apart from a tad of reverb on the vocals (some of which was on the source material...annoyingly), there's none to remove ?
  15. Still muddy, eh? I've got to work out where as I've cut a lot of mud (I thought, anyway). Ho hum...back to the drawing board (I've got some ideas to enhance it anyway with some drum changes, so it's a good excuse). Thanks all! UPDATE: I've had another go at demuddying...I spotted the kick had an insane amount of sub on it which I'd missed!
  16. Not so much on this one, I thought!
  17. Nothing. Many softsynths don't respond to patch changes. They're just designed that way. Put a second one on a different track with a different patch selected via its UI.
  18. My guess is the Apollo is another interface that sets MMCSS in the (ASIO) driver - might be a setting in its control panel you can change?

    Stratos 1977 video

Really lovely - reminiscent of lots of synth artists, but still your own unique feel.
