Its the full 'regular' version not an expansion. I.E. comes with all you need to use it.

Just run the XLN installer - it will tell you if you need reauthorize. If you are 'out' of authorizations go to XLN's website and under your account delete authorization for the machine that you are currently using, & reauthorized using installer.

Don't have that issue... Just double checked and I can't duplicate the problem.

Other the other hand they tirelessly support what they've put out, constantly updating it. Be nice if they improved their authorization system so you don't have to reauthorized their system every major Windows update (just went through this yesterday when my Win10 updated to release 2004) BUT is a fairly painless update - a couple of clicks to reauthorize their whole line. As opposed to others... I just upgraded my SSD and even though I cloned the drive am frustrated by how many items I have to reregister/reauthorize. One of the absolute f******g worst is iZotope - where I have to reauthorize every friggin plug separately?, each one taking multiple clicks and screens. I switched their plugs to iLok thinking that would get me out of having to individually re-authorize (like every other vendor who uses ILok) - NOPE, it just adds another layer of pain because you still have to do the individual per computer manual authorizations and now if I want to sell off their crap I have to deal with iLok fees.

A question for all you V7 people who have upgraded just the plugins i.e. not updated their suites to v8 - everything cool with the update? No new issues? Old presets working OK?

All you need is Kontakt player. They give you the NI code to use with the free Player version of Kontakt - this does not serve as a qualifier for crossgrade to Kontakt full version.

God I hate ambiguous specs and advertising. Inquiring minds want to know!

It could also be the case that they've just not had time to modify all the presets to their new library structure and more will surface later or maybe they used up their budget for the conversions and won't pony up more until they see some sales or they knew that by shortchanging the presets we'd unintentionally open a vortex on the Internet by chasing our tails about it and then Arturia could use the spin to generate sales and open a wormhole directly to France saving them airline fees that they could then reinvest in management bonuses.

Does the lower number of presets in AL5 apply if you own the v8 suite as opposed to only AL5? Just wondering if Arturia is rebalancing AL5 so you get 'bonus' presets when you own the synths or suite.

I just upgraded my v6 to v7, still making payments... feeling like a chump. $299 for v8 upgrade. Probably won't see a discount till I have made all payments
