  3. Musician's Friend has periodic 10 to 15% off sales which I've heard are an excellent way to save on Omnisphere but you need to get on their mailing list to get your discount code. The code won't work for various items on the web but if you call them they'll often let you use it.
And you can use your reward points for further discounts.

    Last deal expired Nov 12th.

They'll probably have another such sale before year's end.

If you previously had any of the included UAD plugins that they are surrendered?
I.E. that you don't end up with duplicate licensing? (2 copies of 1176 Limiter Collection for example)

They are not surrendered. You end up with multiple single iLok licences. Not a locked bundle.

If you buy from UAD you do not end up with additional iLok licenses.  They just don't re-add existing licenses.

  5. Oy - just received an email from PluginDiscounts that after all the drama that they were able to fulfil my order and get my codes.
Don't know how many of these orders they were able to fix or if they only got a few and because I was communicating with them I got 'lucky' but now I've purchased the UAD bundle twice.

So if you tried to purchase from PluginDiscounts - check your emails to see if they sent you your license code before buying it again from UAD.

  6. PluginDiscounts refunded my purchase and I received the following email:

As many of you may have already heard... The UAD Signature Edition Crossgrade deal was apparently listed to their dealer portal by mistake.

Our server is linked to UA’s servers, and when they discovered the mistake. They shut off the flow of codes before notifying us of the problem. In the gap of time (30-60 mins) between when they ended license distribution - and we were told about the problem - orders made it through and were not processed. You are getting this email because yours was one of them. And, while at first this appeared to us as a normal server issue - and we approached it as such - it was not. We had no idea that there was a mistake while orders were being placed.

Despite our best efforts - and multiple emails and phone calls - UA has cancelled all unprocessed orders. I have heard, they will be emailing customers today directly about upgrade options.

I’m sorry. We are processing refunds now and we must go through each - one by one. I’ll make sure all of them are processed before I leave the office today. It may take a few days to reflect on your credit card statement.

    Again, my apologies.

    No bad feelings towards PluginDiscounts.

In the end it worked out in my favor.
I turned around and bought it at UAD using a $25 coupon/voucher that would have expired Dec 1st.

The crossgrade link/deal for the Signature Edition at PluginDiscounts ($142.50)

    https://plugindiscounts.com/product/universal-audio-uad-signature-edition-crossgrade-from-any-uad-bundle/

is still active - but after you check out you get the following message:

"Thanks for your order! Due to a server issue, your order could not be processed instantly. This typically happens when the manufacturer runs out of codes - usually during periods of very high volume. You don’t need to do anything on your end, as we will be notified of the issue, and your codes and download instructions will be sent via email as soon as this issue is resolved."

But the order went through and I received a confirmation.

    Let's see what happens.

    Same here...
<sigh> if I waited I could have saved a bit more as I have Diamond and still an active $25 discount coupon.

  8. I was hoping to pick up Augmented Orchestra  $149.00 (MSRP $299) till 11/22/23
this year for BF (was also hoping that some coupons/credits for last year's UVI purchases would hit my account but sadly no)
but probably not in my budget.

if it is crashing flstudio and you have similar issue, find solution below:

Open the Plugin Wrapper of the plugin and under troubleshooting, activate "Use fixed size buffers".

    This should fix the issue!

Thanks for the info. This fixed the timing issue with bad latency handling I was having with a different plugin.

  10. 4 hours ago, David Inglesfield said:

Do you mean that you're running it as a real-time effect on the vocal track? I would think that would involve a lot of processing. But they shouldn't claim you can realistically do that if it's not really possible without noticeable latency.

So far I've just used it to process audio files offline and then I import the processed audio file into the DAW. You could export your vocal, process it, then import it back in and line it up with the original to get the timing right. (In fact, come to think of it, a more primitive version of that was pretty much how I used to work back in the old days: record the backing vocals on several tracks of the multitrack, sample the best bits into an S3000 or something like that, then adjust the midi timing so the samples audibly lined up exactly with the originals on the multitrack.)

No not real time. Trying to clean up noisy vocal track in mix.  It's doing wonky things with the track's timing.

    Edit:
@David Inglesfield Found fix thanks to @Vst0nE's post in another thread.

In Fl Studio - Open the Plugin Wrapper of the plugin and under troubleshooting, activate "Use fixed size buffers".

  11. Has anyone tried using this plugin on a vocal track on a music project?
With FL Studio I'm getting some odd time delay issues - the Clear plugin predelays the track enough to be disconcerting.
I'm using the demo if that makes any difference.

I just started to check in out and I haven't tried it in any other DAW yet.

Edit: I sent a bug report to developer...

  12. Maybe one of these days (or maybe not)  the Quanta2 upgrade will go on sale (more than the developer offered upgrade $)...

If you own Quanta1 you can get a $70 discount on v2 by going to
    https://www.audiodamage.com/collections/plugin-instruments/products/ad055-quanta-2
and using the code on that page  > so upgrade price is $59

    FOR QUANTA 1 OWNERS

If own Quanta 1, you can use the code QUANTA2UPGRADE at checkout to get a US$70.00 discount on Quanta 2. Must be logged in to the account that owns Quanta 1 to receive the discount.

$59 is a great price for Quant2 but as a previous version owner it has always felt a bit high.
