  1. If you have more AAS instruments, it's worth downloading the full package that contains all of your installers. It's likely that not just Strum-2 has been updated, but they all have.
  2. From a 2 second Google search..... https://www.theproducerschool.com/freedownloads
  3. You could. However, Cakewalk by Bandlab will remain in demo mode until you, get the PC you installed it on connected to the internet, and then activate it with Bandlab assistant
  4. Yes. One purpose of workspaces is to make unavailable and hide features that you are unlikely to use for a particular workflow....
  5. I was inferring that the file needed to NOT be read only for the MIDI settings to save. Setting that file to read only prevented the settings from saving.
  6. Is it possible you are using a workspace that has the video feature disabled? To check this, set the workspace to "none"
  7. What have you tried so far? More information needed. As Bapu mentioned , a screen shot, including the MIDI and Audio track inspector, would help us to work out what's going on. There are a million thing that can cause this.

    Korg Volca Sample

That's correct. there are two cables 1) MIDI and 2) Audio) The MIDI cable would be connected from the PC to the Volca. This is so Cakewalk can control the Volca. Then you need a stereo cable from the Volca to the PC. This is so Cakewalk can record the audio from the Volca. The audio cable would be enough - but it would be more versatile to be able to control the parameters of the volca from Cakewalk using CCs. I have checked the volca MIDI Implementation Chart and there are quite a few parameters you can control. Personally, I would pick up a USB to MIDI adapter if you don't already have 5 pin DIN MIDI outs from your PC. (Some Audio interfaces also have 5 Pin DIN MIDI in/out ports)
  9. One way I was able to make this happen intentionally was to make the file "TTSSEQ.INI" read only. This file is located here: %appdata%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core Note: You might have to enable showing of extensions to see the extension. Start+run "control folders" view tab, deselect "Hide extensions for known file types"
  10. Are you intending to use Cakewalk to play the sound on the piano itself? If so, then you need to make sure that the CP 33 shows up in both input and output in preferences | MIDI | devices and are selected. The Microsoft GS Wavetable synth is a method of playback that uses your notebook for the sounds. However you probably will not want to use this - so deselect this. Cakewalk by Bandlab does provide a much better synth for this purpose (TTS-1) Then you need to create a MIDI track - setting the CP 33 as both input and output. Once you have your MIDI track, press "i" in the computer keyboard - this opens what is called the inspector. Down the bottom, under "In / Out", make sure the CP 33 is selected Also, make sure input echo is lit (that's the symbol to the immediate right of the "M" "S" and arm button( red dot) - just above the "Pan" knob. If this is set up correctly, when you play notes on the CP 33, you should see activity on the MIDI track's meter - and hear notes on the CP 33. It's also possible you might have to turn Local OFF on the CP 33. (See page 31 of the user guide)

    SI Bass Pitch Bend

SI-Bass is hard coded to a 2 semi tone range for pitch bend up and down. it does not respond to the normal RPN 0 for pitch bend range (In fact RPNs silences the synth) If you need a higher pitch bend range, you would need to use mono mode and set the slide to something greater than 0 seconds and play legato.
  12. I've given up on SynthMaster 3 ever being released......
  13. While in the PRV press "h" to view the selected track(s) pane on the right.

    Korg Volca Sample

If your audio interface has stereo line in, then you should be able to plug the headphone out of the volca sample in to the line in of your USB Audio interface using a suitable cable. Makes sure if you do this, you're not using an input that is expecting microphone levels as the output of the volca sample headphone out might be quite high compared to that of a microphone . Start with the levels at the lowest possible levels and turn them up gradually until the levels are not in the red (or just occasionally bumping the red). Note: the M-Audio Uno is only a MIDI interface. It is not an Audio interface. This means the M-Audio Uno would not be suitable for this. You would need an actual audio interface or a sound card that has line in sockets.
  15. I can't find a single menu to do this. Maybe this work around can be used. Convert the effects rack to an effects chain, then delete the resultant effects chain.
  16. Are you using a workspace? If so, there are two thing you can try. 1) Set the Workspace to none. or 2) If you do indeed wish to use a Workspace, go into Workspace manger (Click on Workspaces, and select "Manage Workspaces". Then for the Workspace that you wish to use, under "Load from Workspace" - deselect "Windows Layout". Doing this will allow the Windows Layout from screensets to prevail. Remember, Workspaces are global, screensets are per projects.
  17. In fact the BETA drivers are also quite stable. http://beta.focusrite.com

    I can't download Cakewalk

Because there is nothing to fix. The high majority of people on here (and in general) have been able to download and install Cakewalk by Bandlab using Band without any issues. 180MB ram and 800 kilobytes of disk? Obviously, those are not your actual PC parameters. It's got to be something going on with your PC. Have you checked your system event viewer for some clues as to what that might be?

    Addictive drum 2

Addictive drums 2 came with Sonar Professional (with 1 ADpak) and Sonar Platinum (3 ADpaks) If you had either Sonar Professional or Sonar Platinum, you can still use it with Cakewalk by Bandlab simply by installing it using the instructions that came with those Sonar Professional or Sonar Platinum. You can still log on to you Cakewalk account at https://www.cakewalk.com/My-Account/Products to get the instructions for those products. If you did not have either Sonar Professional or Sonar Platinum, you can purchase Addictive drums 2 from https://www.xlnaudio.com/products

    No sound

Unfortunately the warranty on my crystal ball expired and it's still in the workshop being repaired. There are literally 3487 reasons why this could be. Tell about your set up. Which version Windows? What audio interface? Latest drivers? (for all hardware) Which driver mode (ASIO or WASAPI) Which virtual instruments are you using? How are you recording MIDI data Which keyboard controller are you using All devices visible in device manager? etc? We really need much more information so we can help you, including what you have tried so far?
  21. Note: Requires the Full Retail version of Kontakt 5.7.3 or higher (NOT compatible with the free Kontakt Player).
  22. Samplerate? Mind you, that really only effects audio data. Midi tempo is controlled solely by your DAW in the tempo map. Something else must be going on here. If were using a softsynth to play you MIDI sequence, and it was a samplerate issue, then the notes would actually be out of tune. The tempo itself would not change. You'll have to describe exactly which hardware or softsynth you're using to play back your piano sequence.
  23. It might say "Not a deal" - but to be truthful, this is probably the best deal on the planet!....
