Have you tried using a download manager?
  2. Why don't you just connect the MIDI ins of all of the VSTis to MSoundFactory's MIDI out?
  3. I have had plugins do this. Once, a version of Meldaproduction did this - that was an issue with the plugin which the vendor acknowledged and fixed.
  4. Does this happen on a fresh project with just one MIDI track that is no longer than, say, 10 measures Also, what are your PC specifications? (Operating system and build number, Ram, CPU, GPU, etc). Are there any tasks running in the background? Have you considered dropping a note to Cakewalk support: https://help.cakewalk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000025633
  5. The only way to download Cakewalk is via Bandlab Assistant. Which part fails, the download or the actual install. When it fails, are the cakewalk installers in the following location? %appdata%\bandlab-assistant\Downloads
  6. Pitch bend? Also, which synth are you using? That will determine the method you use to increase the pitch bend range.
  7. That controller data looks pretty dense (Many controller events packed in a small time frame). You might want to run the CAL script "Thin Controller Data.cal" on those controller events. Select your controller events - CTRL+ F1...... will bring take you to your CAL folder where you should find this CAL script. Also, which version of Cakewalk by Bandlab are you running?
  8. Search your entire system for a file called "VG-CARBON.blob"
  9. Whoops... you're right..... forgot about those pesky time signature changes.... the meas command would indeed come to the rescue here.....
  10. There is a fixed Variable called TIMEBASE. This will always be the number is ticks per quarter note. So the number of ticks for measure would be TIMEBASE * 4 Note: If you rely heavily on CAL scripts in Cakewalk by Bandlab, always have your "ticks for quarter" notes set to 960. Any other value and CAL has issues with any time related commands. This is set in Preferences | Project | Clock. Furthermore, this is a per project setting.
  11. Have you gone through all of your hardware (audio, graphics card, network, etc) and checked for the latest drivers. Do this by actually visiting the hardware manufacturer's websites. Don't rely on windows updates this. Note: Even if you have told Windows 10 not to update drivers via Windows update, this is only honoured for Quality Updates, not Feature Updates (Windows 2020 is a feature update)
  12. I've never had this issue Using the latest Bandlab Assistant? (Which is 6.00) Download from here https://www.bandlab.com/download/assistant/windows Is the Cakewalk installer left in %appdata%\bandlab-assistant\Downloads ? If this has been fully downloaded, then the exact size should be 557,262,632 bytes Have you tried temporarily disabling your antivirus software? Is your PC fully patched? Are your Vdist runtimes updated? See: https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads
  13. I tried drawing wheel events here using single lane controller editing in the PRV and worked find here - using the smart tool and the draw tool. Can you please list your exact steps.
  14. Not much to go on here. Are you sure you're adding a MIDI track as opposed to an audio track. And as rsinger stated, the MIDI channel is set in the inspector (Press i)
  15. That was my thought as well..... might even wait for RX9 standard.
  16. Izotope have finally released RX8 Log in to your Izotope account to see your upgrade price. https://account.izotope.com/en/account/log-in/ What's New (From RX7) https://www.izotope.com/en/learn/why-upgrade-to-rx-8.html There is a caveat The RX8 system requirements does not list Windows 7. So if you're still running this Operating system, definitely download and run the trial before making the purchase. PC Support: Win 8 & Win 10 64bit only.
  17. SKU XCH-VRI-1049-201 is not a serial number. It's IK Multimedia's internal product code for Sampletank 4 SE. SKU meaning Stock keeping unit.
  18. What happens if you do the following: · Open a project that uses SW1. · Open up the UVI Workstation GUI and save it out as a Multi. · Then open the resultant *.uviws file with a standard text editor. - The multi file is a simply a standard XML file, just named as a *.uviws file · Search for all occurrences of "World Suite.ufs"and replace them with "World Suite 2.ufs" and save. Then double click on the freshly edited *.uviws (This should open the multi file in UVI Workstation) After following these these steps Do all of your sounds that were previously opened from the SW1 now open from the SW2 location?
  19. This beggars the question.... why not simply install Cakewalk by Bandlab (unless your PC is under specced)?
  20. Put in a feature request. https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/forum/8-feedback-loop/
  21. You title says "Sound Stopped" and your post says "I have sound drop outs". Which is it? You have not mentioned anything about your PC configuration. Have you ruled out any hard drive issues? Use a tool (such as https://crystalmark.info/en/ ) that can check for disk errors. Even check the Windows System Event Logs for bad blocks on any disk drives. Is your Windows full patched and up to date. If you have realtime Antivirus software installed, have you excluded your Cakewalk audio folders from realtime scans (How you so that depends on what Antivirus software you have installed) Uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for your Audio interface? (While you're at it check all other hardware drivers - graphics, network, etc) If you have an Nvidia graphics card, disable the "high definition audio controller" for the Nvidia card. This is in Device Manager | System Devices. There may be multiple "high definition audio controller" entries listed there. If you're using on board sound, then one of those entries will be for the onboard sound, so you would want to leave that enabled. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to tell which one is for your onboard sound. Leave one enabled, then go to Device Manager | Sound, Video and Game Controllers and make sure the only audio driver listed is the one Cakewalk uses. Actually, you did not mention which audio interface. Though I am assuming you're using on board sound card. You might want to consider purchasing an actual USB audio interface. These give a much better experience with professional DAWs like Cakewalk. You mention Driver mode, I am assuming ASIO is not present. If that's the case, leave at WASAPI Others, most certainly will come up with more things.....
  22. Sounds like I dodged a bullet with this one......
  23. Personally, I would not bother updating WS1 WS2 contains all of the content that WS1 does, so you should safely be able to remove WS1. Before you do, however, you would want to make sure you transfer your WS1 projects to WS2. So you would probably allow for, at least temporarily, having both on your content drive simultaneously. The exact size of the WS2 UFS file is 39,150,241,262 bytes (36.4 GB)
