  1. Works for me every single time. What have you tried so far? Exactly what happens. Is your internet reliable?
  2. Does it still happen if you solo the track that you are pasting to.....
  3. It would probably depend of the specific drivers and audio interface. For instance, I have an Asus Xonar DS PCI card and a Focusrite 2i2 2nd gen Audio interface. Both have their respective native ASIO drivers installed. Cakewalk only uses the Focusrite (The Asus is greyed out as expected) I do not suffer BSODS - even when reducing buffer size. I always use 256 samples at 48khz I have also disabled the Intel and Nvidia High definition Audio Controllers. I did this in Device Manger > System devices. Now they are not even listed in "Sound, Video and Game Controllers"
  4. See: https://www.izotope.com/en/products/ozone/features.html#comp
  5. I still would not touch Jrrshop at the moment until they have updated their database and my recent orders. For instance, there is no mention of anything released after November 2018. For example: Sampetank 4 ? nada!
  6. What have you tried so far? Are you using the latest Cakewalk by Bandlab? (Which is 2020.5 Build 039) What version and build number of Windows are you using? Can you define the location of the IRs within the plugin? If so, can you change the location to a shorter path? I would have thought not being able to find the IRs, the plugin would simply say "IR not found" or something like that, not a c0000005 error. Is your Windows fully patched? Have you tried updating the Vdist runtimes Have you make contact with the makers of https://github.com/abbodi1406/vcredist/releases Are all of your hardware drivers up to date? (check manufacturer's websites directly)
  7. Exactly what automation is preset in the destination track and what parameter is it controlling?. You state that "although I have done some automation in the clip I'm adding the pasted one to, there are nodes at the end, ending any automation." Even if the automation ends before where you paste the clip, your track still still be in whatever state the automation is controlling before the pasted clip. Say the automation is controlling volume, and the automation ends with the volume at say 50%, that is what the volume will be when your pasted clip starts. You will have to add an automation node the raise the volume at the point where you have pasted the clip.
  8. Before doing the actual paste, check the destination MIDI track for any CC events that could be affecting volume that might be present before where you intend pasting the clip. Most synths and VSTi plugins use CC7 or CC11 to control volume so look for these to start with. The PRV in single controller mode would be the best way to check this.
  9. When the install stalls, are there any files in the following folder? %appdata%\bandlab-assistant\Downloads. If so what are they, and what are their sizes.
  10. I would not order anything from them just yet until all of your recent orders show up on your account page. Nothing beyond 2018 shows up when I know they should be. A lot of the products appear to be old as well. Also, the "specials" are dated Friday, November 23, 2018 7:10:00 PM EST Even though there is browsable data on their website, I do not deem them recovered at this time.

    Audio Delay

That will means that you'll have to change the buffer size using the configuration software that came with your audio interface. How you do that depends on your particular audio interface.
  12. Note: Requires FULL VERSION of Kontakt 5.8 or above.

    Audio Delay

Can you give us more information? Version of Cakewalk (numerically, don't just say "the latest")? Version and build number of Windows? What driver mode are you using (ASIO is preferred)? What is your buffer size (preferences | Audio | Driver settings) Are you using any linear phase effects (Therefore uses look-ahead)? Can you switch off all effects (FX in the Mix module) to see if the delay disappears?

    Playback latency

Is the Realtek your only audio device?

  16. Preferences > Project > Record : Under recording mode, select "Sound on Sound". Make sure your pitch bend wheel on your MIDI controller is actually transmitting Wheel events.
  17. Also, if you are using SSD drives , you might want to consider disabling prefetch and superfetch......
  18. Note: Requires Kontakt FULL 5.6.8 or above. Will NOT work on the free Player.
  19. You might want to post this in the features and ideas forum https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/forum/8-feedback-loop/

    Partitioned RAM

You might want to start a new thread. However, be prepared to be told that in this day and age, 4gb is not really enough and that you should consider upgrading your ram.
  21. Cakewalk by Bandlab definitely includes Event List view. My first thought is that you are using a workspace (Check top right of Cakewalk's window) that has the event list disabled. Set workspaces to "none" and see if this makes event list visible.
  22. Set Workspaces to "none"
  23. Move you NOW pointer to where you want the project to stop. Then In the event list view, insert an MCI command "stop" there Now, the project will stop at that point where the "stop" command has been placed (regardless of any events following the "stop" command). See: https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=NewFeatures.33.html (search for "Automatically stop/pause playback with MCI MIDI events")
  24. It depends on the range of your pitch bend. I use pitch bend generated notes all the time in my MIDI files. I have written a Studioware panel has two sliders. One sets the pitch bend range (using RPN Events) and that other that allows me to set the interval. The Studioware panel calculates the actual correct pitch bend value from the values of the two sliders. It's all based on a value between -8192 to 8181 (The actual pitch bend MIDI event values). The actual value depend on the pitch bend range and the note you want to bend to (or from). The formula is 8191 * (required bend / pitch bend range) Say your pitch bend range is 5 semitones but you have an instance where you want the bend to go up just 2 semitones. The pitch bend value would be 8191*(2/5) When I am entering glides with pitch bend using the PRV, I turn on snap - but use PRV snap over-ride at a resolution of 64th note (sometimes 128th). Any more than that (by turning snap off) can overwhelm some older synths with MIDI data and might drop some.
