    Popping sounds

Did windows update mess with your audio drivers? Have you tried updating your audio drivers manually? (Using manufacturer's websites rather than Windows updates)
  3. See: https://help.cakewalk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000025633
  4. Track templates do not save any data (Like MIDI events, automation data, audio clips, etc) associated with a track. Only track configuration data is saved with a track template. See: http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Arranging.18.html
  5. A possible work around If you select the MIDI tracks you which to add your controller data to, and then select (from the main menu), Insert | Series of controllers, all of the selected tracks will get the controllers inserted. Further more, if you set your selection bar start and end pointe, the dialogue box's start and end will be prefilled.
  6. I got mine from JRR. No issues. (Except the serial had to be manually generated - but that's just a case of “Patience Grasshopper”)
  7. Yes, it can get quite up there..... especially when you use pitch bends, use both layers and high density settings on the resonators....
  8. Did you try the holding shift while opening to bypass plugins - just to rule out the possibility of a plugin doing this.....?
  9. Even with the plethora of information you have provided, we still can't narrow down the problem. You might have to provide even more information. PC specs, audio interface? latest hardware drivers (audio interface, GPU), Windows version and build number, etc
  10. Is there a stray pitch bend in there somewhere?. Check this with PRV or event list. You might even want head to the piano track and insert a pitch bend = 0 even just before the piano notes start.
  11. Be prepared to do a lot of freezing with this synth..... especially if you use pitch bends.....
  12. With Cakewalk closed, rename the AUD.INI file and then restart Cakewalk. That file will be rebuilt with its default settings. See if that gets the buffer slider back. This file can be found in the following folder (Make sure you've set Windows to view extensions of known file types) %appdata%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core
  13. Not here. Can you give some details as to what plugins you're using. Maybe hold down shift as you open the project to rule out a plugin issue. What driver mode are you using? What sample rate, bit depth and buffer size are you using? When you reinstalled the drivers for your interface, did you download the latest versions? (using manufacturer's websites rather than Windows updates) Also, are you using Cakewalk by Bandlab 2020.9 build 006 (Check this with Help | About)
  14. No But what you can do is open the file with Shift held down and say no plugins until you find wish one is causing the issue. Note: Like many programs, you can find their versions using Help | About.
  15. What are your PC specs? Are you using version 4.13 of ST4? Have you tried it with both the VST2 and VST3 versions?
  16. Works here. I have that version Focusite driver. 4.65.5.658 with CbB 2020.10 Build 61 Are you in ASIO mode?
  17. I was actually going to suggest that you edit your custom workspace to deselect "Display settings" under "Load from this workspace". (Edit workspaces under the workspaces menu and select "Manage workspaces"
  18. If you have one, did you disable your 3rd party antivirus/antimalware program prior to the attempt? My 2004 update consistently failed until I did this. My 20H2 update was offered via Windows update and went smooth as (Even did not have to disable my antivirus/antimalware program)
  19. Wouldn't it be simpler to just download the latest iLok driver/software. Then, after step 1, simply install that over the top of the older installation. That, theoretically, should save the steps 2 to 4 ? - (Including the dreaded registry edit)
  20. If it's been a few months, there may be Windows updates that need to complete. Also, it wouldn't hurt to update your Vdist runtimes (These are done separately from Windows updates) See: https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads Is your OS fully patched and all hardware drivers up to date? (using manufacturer's websites rather than Windows updates)
  21. Cakewalk must have updated the installer on their website. I performed another manual download and install and this time I ended up with BA 6.1.0.
  22. That's the first thing I tried.... same result. It still downloads 6.0.0.0. I installed it anyway, but the reinstalled version still asks for an update.... which fails.
