  1. That exactly what I had to do too. What's the difference between NA and NA2?
  2. All I got when I registered the NI serial was these:
  3. @cclarry I went and manually d/l NA. It was a newer version than what I had. However, my old NA still showed the same version number as the one I d/l!! WT?? But I d/l it and when I did I noticed that the installer was different, and once I started it up I could see it was a different version right off the bat. When I got looged in there was GR7 with an "Install" button!! Installed!!
  4. How did you register? I went to NA and entered the serial I got and it reg'd successfully. But not seeing it appear in NA to d/l and install.
  5. Was anyone able to get GR7 yet? Not seeing it as a product in NA.
  6. The registration process is different than previous versions. 1. You will have to go to that "getmylicenses.com" site that JRR will give you a link to, 2. Enter your code that JRR gave you. This message will then appear: A link has been sent to your email that will activate your bundle. 3. You will then get six serial numbers. 4. Open Izotope Portal and sign in 5. Enter the new MPS serial number 6. Should be good to go then. Just a word of caution: If you try to enter the first serial number in that list, which for me was GR 7, then it will keep telling you that it's invalid. I went from MPS 5 to this version and the only new products I get from Izotope were Nector 4 Advanced and Ozone 11 Advanced. Going to NI to register GR 7
  7. Yep. Has transferred for me without incident several times. I changed computers in my music room, several times. Changed my Surface Pro. Sign in on new machine, settings and all are there. Done.
  8. Here is the part where I wait for Larry to show me he already posted this!! LOL
  9. Not sure what to make of this. Is UAD finally acknowledging the fact that there is a huge market they could cash in on if they worked to make their products more Windows friendly? Working to make their plugins native would suggest this. This step however, clearly says to me they are going after the Windows plugin market. They want their piece of the pie!! Read about it here Included plugins here. Those plugins are all top notch stuff. A lot of them are Unison Tech slot ready. Not all of them, but most of them IIRC. All of them are the "Legacy" version. Which means they are the older plugins with out newer features introduced in the latest versions. IMHO, you can do without those "new" features. These legacy plugins sound just the same as the new ones. That all said, I would highly suggest if you can swing it, to get one of the channel strips. The Neve, API (love this thing!), or the SSL. Word of warning: Once you start recording with one of those channel strips in the Unison slot, your not gonna want to do without it anymore.
  10. No it ain't luck!! You got Edith in your corner!!
  11. On my cell phone the new makeover looks impressive.
  12. Yes, I see, and understand that now. Matrix View, more integration with the track view. It has been a while since I used it, and Craig Anderton had a tutorial on it, but I still never got "into" it. If it was easier to use, I can see the potential in it for all genre's of music. Step Squencer, as you said, one of it's hidden features is that randomization of notes. The velocity setting of the notes, being able to split a note, and the timing of a note. All these little things are not that known. I found out a lot about them out of trial and error. Session Drummer was a really good sampler. It would not have taken much to turn it's UI from a Drum oriented sampler to a General Purpose Intergrated Sampler/ROMpler. I am at work and not able to open CW to remind myself of the things I think would help improve CW!!
  13. This is another one of the features that came out and has tons of potential, such as the Matrix View. Smoothing out some of the rough edges would make these tools into must have items for all genre's of music
  14. Have you never worked with the Step Sequencer? I believe more could be done to improve that tool, but it is very useful for programing your own patterns.
  15. Do you know what the family did with it?
  16. This looks really interesting. Several items got my attention. Factory warranty!!
  17. I was just gonna post they changed the pricing. When I put it in my cart this is what I got:
  18. When I go to NI and log in to my account (I am in the USA), check on my Komplete offers, they want over $300 for the Standard version. If I switch my location to United Kingdom it goes to 120 pounds. Would they honor that purchase?
  19. I really like Big Country. After watching the above video I came across this performance. Very energetic. Didn't realize the bass was so much of a driving force in this song till I heard this live version.
  20. That's a fine sounding guitar. There's got to be a tear in your eye while watching that video. I know I'd be crying if that was MY guitar! Beautiful too. Acoustic sounds were nice on my phone and BT speaker. Very convincing. Tele sound was spot on. I wished he would have played more chords with the Strat sound to show off the silky-ness.
  21. He is the Bapu. He knows the A minor chord on bass!! He is a freaking genius!!
