  1. Before googling about Sugar Bytes' release history (and yes, Effectrix2 update seems to have been 79 euros), I thought you meant to post in the Waldorf thread. Kinda same situation there.
  2. Not a good deal. I think historical low is 3 for 199 and fifty percent off for individual.
  3. Generally not a fan of internet activation stuff and treating paying customers like criminals, but currently my only dislike with iLok is that not all of the licences allow cloud installs. But I'm also even less of a fan of things where you might be able to lock yourself out of a licence due to a hardware failure or some other random unforeseen hiccup. And apparently the fact that you have to go through the individual companies to get things sorted out in such a case doesn't ease the anxiety. Yet, I think I'm most irked by all the other smaller devs and their own weird online activation systems. I always feel like there's a good chance their system won't work in 5 years when they decide there's no money in plugin world (or the planet blows up/flood fills their basement and they didn't have backups/whatever). Makes me a bit hesitant to bite on certain products I might be interested in if the asking price is more than I'm willing to risk losing. Whoever comes up with the Steam of music software world is gonna win the Noble Peace Prize.
  4. Weird. I didn't receive $25 in January, February and not today either.
  5. I haven't after they paused with them late last year.
  6. Has anyone ever used these? I don't think I've ever seen anyone comment on them, use them or have any experience in them. Last time I checked, I couldn't basically find anything on Youtube either. Not that I'm really interested in the actual product, but the name always pops out without any reactions. Plugin world is brutal.

  9. Cheers. That did the trick. Also, check your account's coupons/offers. I had 1 free soundbank choice there too (from the holidays I guess).
  10. I went in to register the code where you punch it, your email and name, but never got anything back for it. Am I just awfully slow today and missing something obvious?
  11. For some reason I've never been able to make sense of iZotope's various bundles and whatnot and thus I've avoided the urge to get anything. Which is a rarity. It's like trying to figure out Sudoku or Minesweeper.
  12. I think Novum was also $89.5 a few times last year. Don't think it's ever been below that though.
  13. I'm not jealous because someone is paying less. Good for them getting a great deal! You always have to pick your own point of entry that you can afford, since there's always a new deal or a new product just around the corner. And I did and I can live with it. However, I do feel dumb thinking that it would take at least more than 2 months (6-12 maybe?) for the price to meld another $100 after the "biggest fomo sale season" on a product that is this extensive. Especially considering how, aside from price glitches, Cinesamples used to be quite conservative with going beyond "normal" discounts. Here's hoping East West follows suit... still need to get Fantasy Orchestra and Forbidden Planet.
  14. Musio 1 is definitely worth $199. Hell, it was worth it when I paid $299 and I owned a good chunk of Cinesamples Kontakt libraries. But oh boy, do I feel like a dunce and cheated for paying that price in the Black Friday/Year End promos not even two full months back. I understand ever deeper discounts at some point, but after less than two months a drop of a full Benjamin Franklin sure leaves a bit of a sour taste. Also made my mouse finger twitch as it tries to figure out whether or not Cinesamples moves below the line that separates those that deserve support and those that do not. Great libraries though and especially so if they keep improving the software (which they've already done and seem willing to listen to feedback).
