The limited version TH3 is sufficient for me too. I own a couple nice tube amps but I rarely use them anymore. The TH3 sounds great. However, a little trick I use a lot is spliting the guitar signal with a Y pedal. One side goes to the interface for the TH3 and the other side goes to a small guitar amp with distortion set high. I place the amp close to the guitar and it acts as a string exciter for sustain &/or feedback. It makes it sound & feel just like a real mic'd amp. You could mic up the amp too if u wanted but I never do. It's simply there as string exciter. The only thing recording is the TH3. I'm sure many of u already know this trick but I thought Id mention it for anyone who didn't. It def helps make up for the one weak spot of recording in the box, which is lack of natural amp response. For clean parts and rhythms I usually dont bother with it but for most solos I use this little amp setup. Cheers!

Cheers Terry. Well, some songs are def too sweet for me but I think everyone has at least a couple guilty pleasures. It reminds me of an Alice Cooper interview I saw. He said back in the 70s he always ragged on the BeeGees. But in private, he loved their music. Most of my buddies were heavy rock guys but they all had a few pop songs they liked. I guess every bad boy has his soft side 😆
