Cheers Shane. To each his own but I actually love the early Beach Boys songs and stuff like California Girls & Good Vibrations. I think Brian was a genius and Beach Boys harmonies were absolutely outstanding IMO. PS. The Beatles Suck!!! (Just kidding 🤣)

IMO your mixes always sound great Mark. I don't know if Gary mastered this one but as usual the mix sounds very clean yet fat & warm. Bravo. Btw, that's a very glassy tone on the clean electric. What amp or amp sim did u use?

Cheers pwal & wibbles 🍻 Is there any rush for the administrators to fix this type of problem or is this likely to persistent for a while until they eventually get around to working on it?

Is there any way to set a key shortcut to jump back 5 or 10 secomds?
T Boog replied to T Boog's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Cheers Jonesey. Yeah, I use offset mode a lot but I would never want it bound to a shortcut key. The only thing worse would be having a key binding for ripple edit. 😄 -
Good news Michael... I pulled through! I'm guessing it was a caterpillar. And although it hurt very badly, I'm proud to say that I barely cried at all. 😎

Thanks guys! Yeah, Ctrl+Pg Up works perfectly. Man I should've asked this question a LONG time ago 😆 -
Im using CbB. Everytime I make an edit, I often just want to jump back a few seconds and hit play. However, the only way I know to do this is to scroll back which takes extra time and movements or to hit my shortcut key to the previous marker which of course is usually in a spot that's too far away or too close. Is there any way to set a keyboard shortcut that can take me back a few seconds? The constant scrolling is so annoying. Thanks

It's super ironic that I just came across this post. I was just walking in the park and something stung the hell out of me right between my fingers. I squished it instantly and it fell but I couldn't find it so I don't know what it was. I was under the trees so it may have been a caterpillar, a bee or a sandfly maybe. Anyway, it's red and it's burning. If I don't make it, I want y'all to know that I hate all of you for outliving me. 😡

Thanks for posting. I didn't know Rick passed on. Btw, he was a very devoted man of God so I'm sure he's in a much better place. Cheers to Rick 🍻

Why does stretching an audio clip cause clicking?
T Boog replied to T Boog's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Thanks Jonesey. Fwiw, before I posted this, I looked online to find an answer and it mentioned the offline vs online thing. But I had no idea what that meant 😄. I'm gonna have to research that some more. Thanks man -
Why does stretching an audio clip cause clicking?
T Boog replied to T Boog's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Wow Will! Sometimes I forget about that. Yeah, a lot of those little clips are actually big clips just cropped down. And I bet the clips that I've applied Melodyne to are the ones that don't give me any problems because they've already been rendered to small clips. Thanks for that man! -
Cheers guys. Often times when I stretch an audio clip then play it back, I get clicking/popping sounds. This also frequently happens when I add effects to a clip. A few minutes ago, I stretched an audio clip and it started clicking. But this time I tried something new.... I undid the stretched edit, then I bounced the clip to itself first. Then I stretched the clip and it worked perfectly with no clicking. I realized that I mostly have this clicking problem on my lead vocal track. And my lead vocal tracks are usually chopped up into dozens & dozens of clips. I'm probably answering my own question but is this the likely cause of the clicking problem (The fact that there's SO many clips on the track)? And if so, can someone briefly explain to me why bouncing the clip back to itself helps correct this problem? Thanks!
