Locker room ambience! I went there as a kid to see the Wings and got to go into the locker room once. I've never seen so many cans of Budweiser and packs of Marlboros.

Got my hand over the "Buy" button for Whitacre Choir. Never seen it this low before and it looks and sounds 1,000 times more flexible and dynamic (and more authentic) than Insolidus. Flipping over sofa cushions looking for change...and Black Friday is still around the corner. -
And a BIG thanks you, monsieur, for keeping the children in line, Zolton for actually making math fun, and for the rest of you chums that, like me, benefited from the Greatest Group Buy and Cakewalk thread in history.

Damn. Here I had put all my GAS money into vitamin supplements and healthy eating. Guess they gotta go now. Welcome back to Michigan, Larry!

I missed the EQ deal in September. I hope they bring that one back, too!!!

Interesting to see "official" versions of amps instead of the same six knobs that appear on the rest of their amps. -

IK 25th Anniversary Group Buy - Your best product purchases
Marc Cormier replied to Max Arwood's topic in Deals
Best purchases for me were two of the ones that got me into the GB to begin with: Mixbox and ARC w/hardware. MB gives you lots of presets which is a must for me. So many tonal variations but be careful as the rabbit hole is there. I’ll get to using ARC this weekend but it’s been on my Christmas list for ages! As for the freebies, the jury is still out but projects I’ve slapped Lurssen on gave a pleasant alternative to Ozone. A bit warmer and less tweaking than Izotope which can be a good thing. Its a little resource-heavy. I’m just getting into MODO Drums. It’s an option among others I use which is nice, but It’s lack of MIDI grooves kind of knee caps it for me right now. I LOVE Shipwreck Piano, though. And Sampletron—that wasn’t even on my radar but it’s awesome!! -

All were asking for is moderation from the moderators - delete the post and move on. Too much to ask? We've been a solid community for years and have had relatively few incidents that require a heavy-handed response and the mods have been there for us when that happens. But by and large, I think our excellent, candid, and congenial communication has been an exemplar of online forums. It's one of the few places I've seen where a poster deserved to get flogged and everyone else punished as a byproduct. -

Oooof. -
Actually, that was a hope I had when the announcement came. Do you think these will ever be available outside of Amplitube, Peter? That’s the application of the hardware, and it would be amazing if they could be part of an FX chain or guitar rig.

Got it - thanks, Peter. Why on earth are you apologizing?!!! I have, like, 44 freebies to pick out from the Group Buy - not like I won't find something to do in the meantime. -

Standalone locks up on the 10-second splash screen as well. Now its at least 2:10. I reverted back to an earlier build (thanks for the advice!) a couple of weeks ago when I noticed the VH4 model went to 26 on my resource meter, but it didn't solve the problem. Is anyone using that model in a project that sees the same CPU hit? I'd love to see if that's been fixed but looks like I'll need to file a ticket before that can be found out. -

Dead in the water here. Creating a new song in S1- just so I can load one instance of AT5 to see if the ridiculous CPU drag is any better - and AT5 locks up. -
https://kazrog.com/collections/audio-plugins/products/ampcraft-1992 AmpCraft 1992 – High Gain Legend From the creator of Thermionik and Recabinet - a new generation of amp modeling is here. AmpCraft - 1992 represents the first in a new line of amp modeling plugins. Focused on being the world's most accurate emulation of a legendary high gain tube amplifier used on countless albums and tours, this plugin also includes 4 overdrive pedal emulations, a noise gate, as well as a dual-channel IR loader with EQ and speaker dynamics emulation, with a selection of critically acclaimed Recabinet impulse responses. Features Highly accurate, touch sensitive emulation of the famous American "block letter" high gain tube amplifier, known for its crushing lead channel. Higher-headroom clean/crunch channel than the hardware - enjoy sparkling true clean and mid-gain tones with no fuss, for versatile use across many musical genres outside of hard rock and metal. 4 overdrive pedals: 808 - Based on the latest, limited boutique Japanese "808" pedal with handpicked vintage ICs, this is a smooth overdrive that sculpts attack beautifully all the way from blues to metal. 66 - Based on the modern boutique EQ/boost pedal made famous by one of the most influential Swedish metal bands. Stockholm - Based on the legendary Japanese-built pedal known for its buzzsaw distortion that became a staple in the early Swedish deathmetal scene. Djrive - Based on the modern boutique overdrive pedal that has become an industry standard tool of the modern prog metal scene, this model has selectable voicings that make it useful in a variety of tunings for precise adjustment of picking attack response. Noise gate - the G8 pedal model is based on a popular single-knob noise gate pedal that has been fine tuned for the needs of the modern metal player. 2 channel Cabinet IR loader with the following features:4 included Cabinet IR packs from the Recabinet - Remastered collection, with 8 mic models on each cabinet. 1960 4x12 - Based on the legendary modern British 4x12 Green 4x12 - Based on the legendary vintage 70s British 4x12 Oversize 4x12 - Based on an American oversized Baltic Birch 4x12 cabinet Tangerine 4x12 - Based on a modern British cabinet known for a classic-style voicing and colorful design. Variable blending - psychoacoustically level matched in the center position. 4 band EQ Speaker dynamics control Stereo Panning (when used in a stereo instance) Adjustable short delay (useful when mixing IRs from different makers, to account for phase discrepancies.) Solo and phase reverse toggles Oversampling - up to 32x Just downloaded the demo. I really like Thermionik but not sure I need another Peavey emulation.

Go back in time on the Forum to hear our fearless leader's (CC Larry) rant about having the TSM2 equivalent but no love on an upgrade path!!! The real value to me has been similar to my only gambling experience in Vegas: went with a buddy and brought $40 to limit my losses. I spent NINE hours at a blackjack table and ate, drank, and got chased away by the pit boss when I was dealt FOUR ACES in one hand. I had to ask others at the table for help as I had no idea what to do and ultimately lost exactly $40. Coming back to the topic, I just spent the last two months and 160 pages of forum magic getting to the TSM3 equivalent that I would have otherwise ignored had I upgraded to TSM3!!!! I love this forum.
