Do these have anything over Studio Drummer or the Abbey Roads as far as Kontakt drum libraries go?
-
There are some really cool Lanois-esque patches in Albion IV's eDNA instrument. I considered it a bonus to Tundra and it made no difference in my decision to buy it. Sure is a nice feature, though.

Arkhis is very good for soundscape and layering - lots of cool articulations on strings and woodwinds. I've paired it on a couple of projects with Spitfire LCO Textures and they sound great together.

The Graviton is a bass amp. I didn't use it during my trial so no idea if its any good.
-
This one piqued my interest - as far as bang for the buck it seems a strong proposition for a lot less than our $29 threshold!!!!!

How does this relate to the Melodyne offer? I'm on the fence about updating to S1 5 but maybe this makes it more compelling?
-
Don't care what this costs. I can't relate to any of those terms so if I can pay to have them - I'm in!!!!

Are there any plugins that you just can't live without from Waves? I don't care about WUP because I don't participate, nor will I. I have Scheps Omni Channel which I use from time to time but haven't bothered with the rest. I hear the API 2500 is a great tool to tame amp sim fizz but haven't tried it.

Get used to it - happens all the time!

I had to go to the hospital over the weekend (nothing serious) and my wife had to drive. When they asked my age, I said "53" at which point my wife pointed out that I'm actually 54. Talk about a lost year.

Effect Rack was $100 last September. Think I'm going to hold out (and kick myself again for not picking it up).

Yes, you read it correctly. Ragnarak, Zeus, and Blackbird are $38 each! Our Advanced Drum Series kits are hyper-realistic drum libraries that create a potent level of realism that's hard to find elsewhere. Containing our flow-note technology, they all have hyper-flexible interfaces with endless amounts of samples, helping you lay down drum grooves that pack a wallop and bring your tracks to life. All three kits were engineered to perfection by Taylor Larson (Oceanic Studios / Periphery) and contain 10 individual microphone positions for ultimate mixing flexibility. They sound completely real out of the box and are extremely easy to dial in for all your rhythmic needs. Over 110.000 samples make a difference! So what are you waiting for? Click on any of the kits below to find out more. https://8dio.com/instrument/8dio-advanced-drum-series-ragnarok-kit-kontakt-vst-au-aax/

I was on the road at the time so super happy to see this was recorded.

Members Only jacket.

This last update to MPS 4 was really more for the Groove 3 access and a yet another reverb, to boot. If those weren’t a part of it, not sure I would have bothered. Might be the last time I upgrade, at least for a long time.

If I can't use it in my DAW, I can't use it at all. Gonna check out Element, which has been sitting on my desktop for months....

Anyone using MCabinet MB? I haven't A/B'ed any IR loaers but it seems to do things others don't. I love tilt EQs, too, and they have one integrated in the plugin. So far I've used NadIR, Audio Assault's loader, and Pulse but not sure the additional tools/features make a significant difference workflow-wise or sonically.

Thanks for pulling this together Larry, and for your communication, Fpoir. Really happy his family was found and that we can help them directly. So sad to hear the news but it wasn't unexpected given the rough shape Terry was in from the beginning. He didn't pass on his own which especially comforting given the pandemic situation. Raising a glass to Terry as I type.
