  1. This is so spot on. Wish I would have seen this before I jumped at the ARC3 crossgrade. ? Great points all around and just a smart way to approach the Group Buy regardless of what you already own. Something in here for everyone.
  2. Mine arrive s on Thursday. What is the value of the freebies that are available? Are they at the $149 cross grade value?
  3. I'm gonna pretend I got us over the hump with ARC 3.
  4. Ah - thank you. I think I'm going to pick up the album anyway but wasn't sure where the plugin comes in!
  5. How does one find the plugin via the link? I see album and artist info. Is an account/log needed?
  6. Hey! I got a slick exclusive invitation to the V8P club after I bought Intimate Strings! Now I not only have to buy a hard drive for the new strings, I have to look at a page full of exclusive products I can't afford. Yippee! I need a V8 not a V8P.
  7. Thanks, Paul. After all this I went for Intimate Studio Strings which comes to $134, with Requiem thrown in. I was on the fence last week when it was on Sale for $98 and now I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger!
  8. Total in cart: $102.00 Total after discount code: $45.90 Number of Requiem Pro Freebies: 0 Drat.
  9. What is that thing? And what is all that paper in it?
  10. I use Toneboosters Morphit but will probably try a trial of this just to compare. Any opinions? 11. I only have Simple Violin but it's superb. "Simple" only applies to limited dynamics - there are a TON of performance and sound features. And it sounds gorgeous.
  12. Livonia, MI, which is the next Detroit suburb over from Larry. We subjects have never seen our mythical king. The people of Kentucky have no idea what royalty walks amongst them.

Plugin Alliance will forward 100% of the proceeds of the "Support BX Sales" to Brainworx in Germany. You can support BX by buying some BX plugins, or some of their cool merchandise. We will start this series of "Support BX Sales" tomorrow with... guess what? Brainworx bx_console N for only $29.99 (24 hours only) Farewell sale for the console that started the TMT story... Stay tuned! Your PA Team
  14. I haven't played around with it enough but even the cab and mic configurations that come with it sound great with the other amps in Amp Room.
  15. Holy cows! And a nice first post, I might add. Into Amp Room it goes.
  16. I didn’t bother much with GR5 as an amp sim but the added effects have proven useful. Some are too heavy on CPU for what they do, especially Raum and some other time-based effects. Haven’t compared their standalone performance where there is one available and haven’t yet used outside IRS which might help the actual amp sims.

  18. But...but...don't you need another reverb??
  19. Doh!!!!! Yes, don't forget to update your signature when you've sold everything!!!!!!! Thanks, er...sorry, Doug.
  20. Or just add a link to your KVR forum post in your signature. One of the joys of this forum is talking about deals without pitching our own.
  21. Love me some Veggie Tales...
  22. So true, Piotr - I hid or uninstalled about a quarter of all plugins in my instrument and effect pages in the S1 browser. It looks and feels great to just make the "maybe that will come in handy someday" plugins go away, assuming what remains will probably do what I need and perhaps better than the ones I got rid of. Having all of those "maybe" options means I'm not exploring or understanding what I have already. Now, the question is "how do I make that Fabfilter sale eliminate even more of those second-rate plugins on my list?" Followed shortly by "how am I gonna pay for it???"
  23. Took the leap earlier today (glad to see it was still on sale and may still be). This thing is so easy to use and sounds fantastic. AND it's barely registering on the performance monitor in Studio One. I admit I have way too many reverbs and most came with larger packages or cost little to obtain and are not worth selling second-hand. At this point, I'll just start hiding them in my plugin browser in S1. They may gradually be replaced with this.
