Hi jack, You are so prolific ! Interesting as usual. I like that I can hear your voice better than other songs of yours I have commented on. As mysterious as ever. Keep up the good work.

I don't know the song, but your version is great! Has the right attitude, the mix is very good, the guitars sound excellent, enjoy your singing, nice little moments mixed in here and there, so yes, call this one done and done very well! So yeah keep your energy going

Been a while, so this is my song of this past summer which was so hot I had fans and ac blasting 24 hours a day and it was hard to work on music. It's my first song video with clips put together and some fx here and there. I have a lot to learn about video making but it’s fun. I used Si bass, a Sampletank organ, a few aas swatches, new nation blaque guitar with TH3, Stagecraft Theramin, Session drummer and a few Kontakt synths here and there. My notes on this one are pretty bad so that’s what I pieced together from my scribbles. It took months to do because of well, my vertigogo, (still happens at times ) plus the pollen and wildfire smoke were bad making my voice not useable most of the time, and all the noise in my place and at times it being simply too hot and impossible to go into my studio area at all. I didn't feel that I could listen well to anyone else's songs here under the conditions either. But I persevered and this is the result. I had fun making it all and enjoyed finding humor about vertigo. Feedback always welcome, thanks for listening ! Treesha Vertigogo I got the Vertigogo, when is it gonna gogo? I got the Vertigogo, I really want it to gogo? Standing on this global world Dancing like I’m being twirled Getting spun and getting whirled Everything is swirly-swirl Don’t have to go to an amusement park Have to be careful in the dark Which ways up, which ways down If I’m not careful I’ll be on the ground Spinning, Spinning Spinning Spinning, the world is spinning Vertigogo, when will it go go go go? O Vertigo, I got to move in slow mo I got Vertigogo, it’s like a brain tornado I wish it would stop before I drop Before I flop OH NO NO Been spinning for a while Probably went a mile I’m getting nowhere fast My future’s in the past This crooked world is spinning Moving through outer space Why do we have to spin so fast Is this a cosmic race? Kaleidoscope within Turning while I spin I’m being so misled By the vortex in my head No no no no no I don’t like Vertigo This stupid bop has got to stop This stuff has got to go Spinning. spinning spinning Spinning spinning Spinning spinning, spinning spinning The world is spinning, the world is spinning Wanna go for a spin NO THANK YOU, NO THANK YOU

Is this Ample Sound Guitar out of tune?
treesha replied to Roy Slough's topic in Instruments & Effects
Hi, I can’t get the video to play and it says zero so very small ha, but from my experience looking at vst instruments in melodyne, it was surprising that from a perfect midi note, if it sounds off and I look at it in melodyne, it will be off. I’m currently fixing a vst bass track. I have had to fix strings, guitars, synths. So I have experienced and checked into it and the way I fix it is melodyne. I recently watched a video about vst guitars and it says sometimes it sounds better with fewer notes in the chord. -
What he said (mettelus). I have studio so I don't know about what the essentials options are. For me the options is top left with those choices in there. Funny today I was using it a lot with both those checked and more often than not melodyne did not open at/zoom at my cakewalk timeline selection. I had to play find the blobs. Still I love this program and dealing with its quirks doesn't change that ha. Hope you can find these in your options and see if they help.

FIRST is a reverb library consisting of 30 IRs and 30 presets for rematrix. In DrShelder post there are issues with them not working after they are loaded in, same for me. So there is something not working right with these at the moment.

I just watched a good video that mentioned the clips follow selection setting so engaged it. Always more to learn with this amazing beast of a program. Yeah I cant explain the times its ok from when its not blobbing. PS. Thanks for your PS. I had the hottest most unbearable late spring - summer plus (it actually just started to be winter now all of a sudden) so it was difficult to work on music with air conditioners and fans blasting month after month. I have a few songs done and will post very soon, but during this record breaking heat time I didnt feel like I could listen well to other peoples work on the song forum and thats part of what I like to do there. Took the time to learn some stuff, made my first song video (named Vertigogo), couldnt sing, just rough times!

I uninstalled both after I saw it would be running all the time

I also love the beautiful metallic paints in 7. They can add nice touches to things. If you post somewhere on your social media about this deal and then post your post on the escapemotions.com general forum you will get 3 free papers too - About Canvas set 3 paper set (includes 3 full-color papers) worth 15$ These linen canvases offer a natural connection between the paintbrush, the paint, and the surface. When viewed up close, you'll notice a delicate interplay of color shades that reach deep into the fibers. These canvases respond beautifully to oil paints, acrylics, and watercolors, making them a perfect source of inspiration for artists who enjoy exploring mixed techniques. Contains: 3x Linen canvas | Compatible with Rebelle version 5.0 and later The users on the forum post a lot of free stuff like brushes stencils and color sets too.

Listen to more than one take Lane at the same time?
treesha replied to charles kasler's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
If your setting are as you say, I would expect only 1 take lane. Do you see multiple take lanes? -
Thanks for all the replies and good info!

It was confusing but I eventually made an account then downloaded the asap file that contains the free spectral remix and spectral clipping that work fully and some others that are in demo mode. I am interested in the spectral remix to see if it works like the sonible entropy vst. I also saw a page with many free things but haven’t had a chance to explore that page yet.

I was just in my Native Access for something else, and noticed an update for Kontakt Factory Selection 2 , ver 1.2.0, 9/23/24 8.60 GB and from past experience have learned to read the release notes and it says this... Minimum version required is Kontakt 8 I dont have Kontakt 8 and may or may not be getting it, so I guess this means if I install this update I have no Kontakt 8 to use it in. So I wont be downloading this update. Like when a recent update for Analog Dreams had the minimum required version is Kontakt 7.6, so it no longer works in my full Kontakt 6 where it originated from in my purchases. I read I can get and download a version that will work in 6 again, but I have 7 player and it works in there so its ok in this case. I think I am understanding this correctly, if not let me know ! Yes I only tried it briefly so probably not going to work ! Wasn’t too engaging when I tried it.
-
I tried it in my kontakt 7 player and it works.

I had messed around with the eq features before but didn’t really get it, so the video examples helped me to see the different ways it can be useful. Always more to learn about melodyne.

Glitch on playback, from a quack to John Henry's hammer
treesha replied to badt1mes's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
It might be more than you want to do, but izotope rx has free trial for its rx products that can fix or clean up many things. That’s what I would reach for, I have an older version. -
https://blog.native-instruments.com/best-free-kontakt-instruments/ I don't think this was posted before. Its a blog on native instruments site. It has these sections- Synths Vocals Pianos Percussion Guitars Creative Effects

I got the generous email offer and think I might get this for bass HoRNet L3012 Bass Channel The channel strip designed for your bass. HoRNet L3012 packs under its interface an analog tube preamp section that can be overdriven to add grit to your sound, followed by a gentle “bass boost” circuit and a transient shaper, which makes the attack and picks of your bass sound great. You then get high pass and low pass filters, a low shelf, high shelf and a fully parametric mid band to fix resonances and shape your sound, the last stage is a complete compressor modelled after a famous VCA compressor often used on bass. ty Saverio

I think in the clip inspector there is an option to change the clip color
