Outstanding writing, arranging, playing, production, mixing, mastering....this genre is one of my favorites....Steely Dan meets Return to Forever ( i mean that as a truly high compliment)....the clean guitar is beautiful and the treated electrics are perfect....if you have time could you list what software, plugins, etcetera you utilized?? ????

completely interesting musical and video journey...the music you slowly unfold had me wondering at every step what was going to emerge next and it was always something i did not predict (tambourine, distorted guitars....)....harkened me into David Lynch realms....very, very well done....music and video

Thanks mark....the acoustic guitars must be redone as if you listen close you can hear me breathing through my nose throughout the track....this is the first song i tried using a microphone (Shure PGA58....the cheap one) to record acoustic guitars and i didn't even know i was breathing so loudly, let alone the mic recording it....i may be able to just re-record the two acoustic guitar tracks as i really don't want to redo everything but if so it's more experience.....most of the songs i have posted here were written with lyrics but as i can't sing i'm reworking them into the ambient pop style....Thanks again ????

Hello Esther....i am new here (almost two months) still learning DAW techniques so, i tend to have more opinions on the song itself (melody, arrangement, structure, instruments, chords....) than the DAW characteristics (sound quality, production, mix, timing, tones, effects, etcetera)....so, i must say this is excellent work as a song, playing, arrangement, quality of recording...such as Eleanor Rigby with a great piano written into it....i do not speak French but found the vocal work to be excellent and very enjoyable....i have found the mix to be virtually just as important as the song and from what i hear just needs a little knob turning (volume levels in different parts, tones in different parts....) here and there....most excellent work ????

Thank You Tom....i am still learning the important in's and out's of working with a DAW....for example, last night i was wondering why the guitar in the latest project sounded so terrible, turns out i had turned on Automation for one thing and forgot to turn it off so i had, like, psycho automation (!!!!) going on with all four EQ's in the Pro Channel EQ module for the guitar track, little things i have to learn to be a lot more careful about....i think that's what happened with Seems Like Forever ??️??

love music with a sense of humor and is technically savvy to boot....sounds great....the sequencer is something i plan on getting into learning about soon.... you did a great mix of the bass and sequencer ????

Hi mark....sounds great....how you get the drums that tight on a DAW is beyond my patience, time and ability at this time (but i'm working on it)....EQ, mix, playing, levels all sound really good....gave me some Average White Band "Cut the Cake" flashbacks ( i saw those guys at the Roxy in Hollywood back in the day....quite polished and good) ????

Thank You Douglas....i have only been doing this for a few months so i have a lot, lot more to learn....all the electric guitars were done via direct injection with audio interface then the CbB TH3 plug in and CbB Sonitus Delay, EQ....all the plug ins are CbB as i haven't bought or d/l'ed any free ones yet....Thank You for listening and comments ????

Thanks....i never got into the Dead other than their "hits" (Casey Jones, Truckin', Uncle John's Band) but i always listened to Jerry Garcia's guitar whenever I heard their stuff on the radio back in the day....space in a composition being musical, i could not agree with you more...drummers Bill Bruford and Stewart Copeland really opened my ears to how less can be so much more in a piece of music....thanks again for listening and comments ????
