Very nice John. Many times on here I have read you state about your vocal ability etc. etc. I am sorry... but no one could do that song justice and could compete with the way you sang it. Honestly... that's my favorite of all the songs you I have listened too that you have written. Your composition skills are fantastic.. how you can think those in your head... I couldn't even stand a chance. Well done mate... very moving song when you know the back story.

Hi Allan. (going through a lot of songs now Im back on line as promised) Are you influenced by the Beatles? liked the arrangement and vocal harmonies. I can hear that you don't use auto tune... not meant in a bad way. Its very retro and 60's sounding. Mix wise (again just my opinions) its very middle based. I would like to hear more tone and separation. Your composition skills are amazing.

OK... straight up... Many may not like this as its Christian based, I wrote this when I was 18-19 (now 56) but dont have a melody for it, nor a title. But its stayed with me all these years and I would like to find something for it before I kick the bucket. ? When the blood of my pierced side, Went flowing down the mountain side. And the sky turned black on that day, Because the Father He turned me away. You see He sent me down into the depths of hell. Into that dark festering well. Like a pure white sponge He squeezed me tight, Till I soaked up all the black of the night. You see death was defeated, New life had to start. God had promised man should have a new heart. And only by my dying could this be, That's why I gave my life so freely. I remember starting to write a Christian musical... maybe its not meant to have melody. Just so you know.. Im not preaching to anyone or ramming my religion down peoples throats. Just thought maybe some of you have some advice. Thanks

Very dry mix and Asian sounding as your wife says. Nice arrangement too. We all paint different pictures... would it be possible to make the mix wider and tickle my ears more.

Thanks for taking the time to listen. I have just got my computer up and running and will start going through all the posts tomorrow and listening to others compositions I also try and post up a video of the song that was recorded live.

I liked this a lot. The only thing I can hear is at 17 sec there is a little click (right channel).. 31 center, a few other paces.. this maybe you haven't put a fade on the tracks when it starts. You have a really nice voice Rex.

HI All. Sorry I haven't been commenting recently on the uploads as my studio system is down waiting on a new motherboard and processors etc. Another week or so until I am up and running again. But I will go through every missed one. All the best and happy music making! Gary

HI Steve... hope you managed to get through it?? I haven't spent so much time in the studio recently as I have been doing quite a few live engineering jobs. Also working on another TV series which will take I think up quite a lot of time.

Where do you get them from?? He likes American cheese... lol

I liked this song. Listened to to lyrics... very good. I also like your voice. Personal taste... should such a subject should it have such a happy cool bounce to it? I don't know your memories... maybe that's where it comes from?

I listened to it and is a bluesy track for me.. Mix translates well on my focals... There are a lot of frequencies going on in there... which I am sure was hard to fix. Its strange but never really listened to Pink Floyd and dont understand personally what everyone sees in it. Can someone care to illuminate me what everyone raves about? (Serious question as I really don't get it)
