Great track... I agree with @bjornpdx (even though he knows says he's going deaf) ? The vocal is good... but need to be more front which I think you can do with compression which will bring out the phrasing of the words. Well done.

There is always something about pizzicato that I like. I think this track would sound great with the bass freq in the middle and the other strings in stereo. I know it doesnt go with your idea of the track... but we all paint a different picture.

Nice job. On my monitors it sounds a little flat. As one poster has pointed out there doesnt seem to be much top end. You dont happen to have a highpass filter enabled on mixdown on some tracks?
