I've got a 40" 4k TV as my computer monitor in one room and a 43" 4k TV as my computer monitor in another room. The second one cost me all of $209 during a Black Friday sale and replaced two 16" x 12" monitors that were failing (bought sometime in the 1990's for WAAAY too much!). I will not be going back to smaller screens!

I made a delivery at someone's apartment yesterday and they were playing Ozzy. I asked "having an Ozzy tribute?" and she replied "Yes! Poor Hulk too!" so I asked if she had heard about Chuck and she said "No! Well, there's the third!"

This just showed up in my YouBoob video feed. Brought back memories because this Craig was my guitar teacher back in the day! Craig had a difficult childhood and often slept in his car or the music store he taught out of. He's a couple years older than me and, when he was at home, lived two blocks over from me. Ronnie James Dio learned about his abilities and home life and became his godfather (which obviously helped him join Dio eventually!). He replaced Jake E. Lee in Rough Cut when Jake left to join Ozzy and he was also a member of Guiffria. I got to play with him a few times (for about six weeks) in Foolish pleasure because he wanted a second guitarist who had no desire to be in front or take a lead. LOL! We played a kegger party, a roller rink and then the big one: Opening for Blue Oyster Cult (billing themselves as an older name, Soft White Underbelly to try and keep the interest only to die-hard fans - it didn't work and caused a massive traffic issue!).

*TRIVIA!* I was actually shot at by Brenda Spencer! (Where this song comes from.) I wasn't a student at the elementary school that was directly across the street (I was in Junior High half a block away - now called a "Middle School"), but was walking with a friend above the elementary school when we heard what we thought were firecrackers. As such, it was a teen boy requirement to go watch and, when we got close to a chainlink fence, a bullet aimed at me ricocheted off a fence pole then a school play yard person started yelling at us to get down. For the next two hours we had to lay on our stomachs while the bullets kept wizzing around and all the police arrived. When we could, we snuck off without anyone noticing and got to school late with an interesting story to tell. The next semester I got one of Brenda Spencer's old schoolbooks (back then you checked one out then returned it at the end of the class semester). She was one year ahead of me - kinda spooky seeing her name in the front of the book.

Just watched this today (which probably showed up in my YouBoob feed due to listening to M above! 😆). It was pretty interesting!
