  1. Back when rainbows meant... rainbows! ?
  2. Since Steve obviously loves bands that use hairdryers! ? (This band is made up of hair stylists! LOL. ?) A Flock of Seagulls - Space Age Love Song (Fun video too!)
  3. Cracks me up that the sign must get stolen enough to need a tracking device! ?
  4. Reminds me of the Norwegian band Magenta (to distinguish them from the other two bands named Magenta that I have!). "Smell my armpit!" ?
  5. One cheap illusion can still be divine... Peter Godwin from Images of Heaven
  6. Strange, it's usually one or the other, ya? ??? All I know is that the last time I made a New Year's Resolution was in the year 2000 and I'm STILL keeping it! (I resolved to stop making New Year's Resolutions! ?)
  7. ? And... Something I made for a friend's upcoming New Year's Eve party (first time I'll be out on New Year's Eve in 19 years!).
  8. I kept waiting for someone to mention Manfred Mann (who's cover made it famous).
  9. Maybe you shouldn't have used multiple SoundBlaster cards. ?
  10. Man did I love that sound! I had several of the Rockman units (instant Boston sound!) and my friend had this: He (August, the guy I've mentioned before who now plays the Tommy Shaw parts in Dennis DeYoung's band) was given this by a fan. August (and some other friends) used to have the only Boston tribute (i.e., "cover") band in the nation called Smokin'. Although this isn't the exact line-up that I was onstage with (as roadie, playing the soundcheck and a VERY minor backing role) when they played a casino near me, it gives you an idea! They played one night as Smokin' and a second night as Grand Illusion (a Styx tribute band and how August - in the red shirt - was discovered by Dennis DeYoung). Fun times!
  11. Nope! I've never smoked anything (except using a BBQ! ?) Now, using hallucinogens to free the mind and be creative is another story. ????
  12. What IS this "practice" concept I hear so much about??? ? ?
  13. LOL! As a friend of mine once said, "I like brunettes! I like blondes! I like red-heads! Heck, I like girls with hair!" ?
  14. I definitely agree that there's a lot that's under-appreciated! That Jazz from Japan (the girls) that was posted here a while back was awesome! (That said, of all the types of ladies out there, I definitely have a sweet spot for Japanese/Americans! *Sigh...* ? )
  15. One of my favorites from them... Alice In Chains - I Stay Away
  16. I'm not far behind you! I definitely knew of the Ventures, but didn't really know just how big they were (similar to how Deep Purple is known in the U.S.). I'm going to make some time later to watch the video. ?
  17. Two bands I always liked! ?? This song has a Gary Numan vibe to it I think! ------------------- You've got me listening to the two albums I've got from them (Waking Hour and InGladAloneness). Personally, I think that their name is one of those that's not the best choice for searches (and file folders)! Discogs has them under both "Dali's" as well as "Dalis" which just sounds weird.
