  1. Remember when we got 3 console emulation in cakewalk like 10 years ago? Cakewalk did a lot of things ahead of it's time. I will probably snatch anyway to compare. Thanks
  2. Does anyone else find that Songkey always gets the BPM 1 bpm off?
  3. I got this a couple of years ago. It's decent but definitely in the "not a major upgrade of stock synth" category. If I wanted a free upgrade over stock synths, Vital and Surge are better options. This, is however very simple if that is the goal.
  4. I have v collection 8 and i use it a lot. Just having hard time rationalizing upgrade. I already own augmented strings. Not sure if the rest is worth it
  5. I always thought the original was underrated. Not the best emulation but plenty of usable sounds like the 90s House organ.
  6. How different is this than the 200?
  7. I think plugins still work but you just can't install after WUP expires. I had rbass on two computers for ten years and both worked fine long after expiration
  8. WUP doesn't bother me because plugins I got over 10 years ago still work on windows. I never bothered installing my waves plugs on Mac. In fact, I use very few third party plugs on Mac .
  9. Anyway, sorry to get caught up in the OS fanboy tangent. I use both Mac and windows and have my share of headaches with both. Back to topic. For those who are having trouble picking 4, the crispy tuner is a damn good alternative to autotune. It's superior to Antare's stripped down version and imo also on par with and possibly better than Waves variant.
  10. At this point it is possibly feet dragging, but the whining about m1 compatibility started only weeks after they launched.
  11. I wish this only happened when cpu architecture changed. This has also been an issue a lot when MacOS changes. We bought an intel mac right before they started putting out M1s and felt kinda stupid.
  12. I wish this only happened when cpu architecture changed. This has also been an issue a lot when MacOS changes.
  13. I also struggle to understand why people get mad at software companies instead of apple when they intentionally flex their power by forcing developers to jump every few months to make plugins compatible.
  14. I get that the weird perpetual sale/ voucher thing was a little annoying, but sadly, it seems to be an effective strategy for the many companies playing catchup with Waves. Their plugins are good. I'm caught between grabbing a few former maybe plugins i passed on in the past (the neve chwnnel strip and the 4000e) and "i rarely use the ones i already own"
  15. You can get something free by spending money that you weren't going to spend!
  16. I find it fascinating that people will look for things to buy to get things that are probably duplicates of something they have . Unless an owner wants to correct me, there seems to be nothing special about this plugin. Most of us have multiple variations of samples/ emulations covering same territory.
  17. I just tried Gaudio Studio. Has some potential but has trouble distinguishing keyboard instruments and guitars. I took a simple song with two guitars, drums, electric piano and vocals. It put all instruments as "other instruments" the vocal separation was pretty smooth.
  18. I do this a lot and it works great.
  19. I have 2 or 3 expansions for String Studio VS-3 that I use on VS-2 including Masala 1 and Journeys. Works fine
  20. To each his own. I find LABS stuff useful
  21. I uninstalled 6 for two reasons: 1) my previews stopped working 2)storage space was an issue. I decided i would rather figure out missing instrument than download and install 6 again. Lesson learned to start finishing stuff
  22. Worth it. Good plugs for the price
