  1. I had just thought the exact same thing and bought that too... I should've checked back here first! I went to the qualifying section, clicked on buy there, so by rights it should apply to anything in the $49.99 entry point.
  2. Haha... you've come to the wrong place! I had no intention of buying it whatsoever either.. I'd even seen it before it had been posted on here and glossed over it.. but after a second pass and demo... this forum has cost me again ? But I'm really looking forward to using this one now... ooops.. I mean, yes.. It's a terrible synth and would only suit dubstep, money saved.. phew! ?
  3. I didn't think too much of the presets, although there were a couple I liked, but creating patches from scratch was what made me end up buying it. Might be worth another quick look at that price.
  4. Placer probably has it's place... no pun intended ? But I'm not seeing much of a need for that one personally, although I can imagine it's pretty useful for certain types of work. That's a shame about the UI and I've seen plenty of devs make complex plugins intuitive, so I'm sure they could improve there too by the sounds. I was mainly considering the Monofilter as the full version, but stereo widening tools can all be a bit different, so I'll give that one some thought too. I didn't know that about the one seat.. considering their full price, that is very poor of Nugen if that's the case.
  5. Thanks Nick and they would be the two I'd be most interested in. Monofilter being the main one, but with stereo enhancers/wideners it doesn't hurt to have a couple of options and some can work better on different material.
  6. I grabbed this as well. At that price it's really good. I'm only scratching the surface of it and actually it took me a little while to work my way around it, but this can get some huge sounds. I do have Native Instruments FM8 so I did consider giving it a miss, but I prefer a lot about this synth in comparison. UI and effects are way better, but that's just an example. I guess this might be why they didn't list VST3 as supported: V1.1.1- VST3 support (beta, please report any issues) It's not perfect though and I noticed some small annoyances, but for the sound at that price, it's worth it and they may even fix things as well ?
  7. Didn't take you long from demo... that's a good sign!
  8. I did wonder if their website and AudioDeluxe were updated as both only shows VST2. I might give it a demo ?
  9. I was almost thinking the same, but they've advertised it themselves at that price in other places, like VI. Pretty tempting at that price, but I did notice it's VST2 only. I wonder if they're reducing it because they're not planning on upgrading it to VST3..
  10. Softube: Volume 5 (50% off) Was $899USD now $449 https://www.softube.com/products/volume-5 Log in to see if you can get a cheaper upgrade price ?
  11. If anyone is considering getting Softube Volume 6 when it's released (or 5) you might want to pass on this as it's included. Otherwise if not, it seems like a great price! I wonder how it compares to the Nembrini Mrh159.
  12. I was really surprised at how good it sounds. I'm well covered for plugins in that area (yes you could say saturated!) but it's still a little different and I can see it being used quite a lot.
  13. Too many Plugins not enough time? ? It can actually be like though! Sooner or later I'm sure we'll probably end up getting through them all.. as long as we stop getting new ones at some stage! Sounds like an interesting use case with separating the cymbals. Hope it does the trick nicely ?
  14. Yeah its not uncommon for the Things to have freebies, or free with purchase at all! Still not bad if someone doesn't already have it though ?
  15. I feel your pain on that one.. I've had to sit on the sidelines with a number heaps(!) of freebies because I already owned them ? How are you liking them all? Would you rate them and are you considering upgrading any of them to their full versions?
  16. AudioDeluxe: Things – Texture (Granular Reverb) free with purchase https://www.audiodeluxe.com/
  17. First decent freebie with purchase in quite a while.. hopefully it's the start of many more! ? I got Monofilter the other day and it's a little basic, but I don't mind it. This a a great way to get the Elements versions in case you want to upgrade any down the track.
  18. I'm not sure it's ever really safe to assume that based on that criteria. Some companies just charge a lot more... I do expect these would be quite decent though and the feedback on them is normally pretty good. I haven't pulled the trigger on them yet, but that's primarily due to price. The consensus seems to be the Cherry Audio emulations sounds really good, but not necessarily as close an emulation as some competition. If you're purely after the original sounds, then maybe that makes them not quite as good, but if they sound great then that counts for a lot as well. Sometimes it doesn't hurt to have a few options.
  19. Softube: 15 Under $50: mix & match premium pro audio tools (Save up to 75%) https://www.softube.com/15-under-50 Mostly look like their regular sale prices to me, but if you've been waiting for a sale to grab something, then it might be a good time ?
  20. Agreed on that for the most part. This one is separate to the monthly loyalty vouchers though.

  22. I think we may need Lars back and some super sleuthing to find one of those, because I've never seen one from them either! ?
  23. Completely agreed. They're worthy of the full price.. In saying that, I've only picked them up on sale though ?
  24. Total no brainer at that price. Not for the feint hearted though.. that is one hell of a versatile and complex compressor. If I didn't already own it, I'd be snapping that one up.
